No way Redick has a girlfriend.

Post by Cicero »

Impossible b/c ESPN's lips are firmly around his pole. I am a big Redick fan, and he is one of the top players in the country, if not the best. He is team guy and works his ass off every night but the reason everyone outside of Durham hates him is b/c the guy is talked about as if he is God. I watched the Duke/Uva game tonight and Mike Patrick referred to him being brilliant 4 times. The other guy said he would take him in the Top5 in the Draft. I think he has the potential to be a Mark Price type player in the pros, but even I am getting tired of the constant dick sucking. Its ESPN's fault the guy gets hate mail and his booed and call names everywhere he goes. If I wasnt a Duke fan I dont think I could take a whole games worth of Redick praising.

Dickie V. has said J.J.'s name tonight 7 times in the first half. Someshould let him know that Duke is on television and let him go watch that game and let us hear about ours.

Dukie V and his femme partner are the reason I didn't watch the end of the Duke-VT game. I believe it was when they claimed Reddick was the greastest free-throw shooter "EVER" in the history of the NCAA that I stopped watching. Spare me the stats please, I just never want to hear "the greatest ever" when listening to a game.

He was on fire. Only needed 13 shots to get 40 points. Kobe and AI need 25-30.

Nice win OU, btw.

Dude was 11-13 and 8-10 from three. He's good. Real good.

Mike Patrick, as an announcer, has always been the king of verbal felatio...you should know that from watching Sunday Night Football. J.J. is having a big year for the Blue Devils and deserves praise but Patrick always goes overboard. No one should villify Redick in this case...the announcers and analysts just need to cool it with their compliments.

 Maximum point value on a shot is 3. I've been working on math with my 7-year-old, and I'm pretty sure 13 x 3 = 39. Dude would have had to drain all 13 shots from 3-point range, plus convert the 4-point play on one of those attempts to reach 40.

I didn't see the game in question, and color me skeptical, but I think something is slightly amiss on this claim, unless he got a bundle of points from the charity stripe.

Damn TiC, I hate proving you wrong dawg. He was 11-13 from the field (8-10 from 3). So if my math is correct, that would give him 30 points. He then was 10-11 from the line. 30 + 10 = 40.

Alright, I was going to keep this private between me and Mustang, but I'm coming out of the closet. I actually like JJ Redick.

Over the top praise by the media for a Dookie is far from a new thing so that in and of itself isn't what makes me hate the former Hazard boys that I do hate.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

Bullshit. Price was an excellent point guard. All Redick does is shoot the trey and hit 99% of his free throws. Redick is the next Trajan Langdon.
Now pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the fucking car.

He is better than Langdon. He is a better ball handler, plays better d and is just an overall better player. Not saying that Redick will be a superstar but he will be in the league for 8-10 years. Makes me sick to think that guys like him who can shoot, pass and understand the game are weeded out by 18 year-old gangbangers who can only dunk but got tons of upside.
