Mitch doesn't play defense so explain that side of the ball.

Bumping this thread, cause there was an article about Damian Williams in the paper today, and it said that 4 kids from Springdale were committed to Arkansas....
Springdale went undefeated and won the state championship with a record of 14-0. They outscored opponents 664-118. 5 kids are committed to D1 schools (the 5th is going to Notre Dame).
Mustain withdrew a verbal to Arkansas and flirted with Tennessee and Notre Dame before recommitting. It probably helped that Houston Nutt hired Springdale coach Gus Malzahn as QB coach.

Nice. Peace Sells...but who's buying.Believe the Heupel wrote:Damn..
They just mercy-ruled Jenks (OK) HS-a traditional power.
They beat Evangel (Shreveport, LA) a couple of weeks ago-the same school that cranks out NCAA flop QBs every few years.
Damn. That Mitch Mustain must be one hell of a QB. Plus he shreds on the guitar.

When he was considering Texas, Arkansas fans were leaving death threats on his families voice mail and even approaching him in the streets. His dad said he could handle it but from what I understand it shook him pretty good. Not going to Arkansas was bad but even looking at Texas was considered unforgiveable to the piggies.
