Field of dreams... of sorts

Post by Ken »

Ya', know, it's almost surreal. Everyone knows Siller fan travels. Ask any Dallas fan 'bout that. Ask any Cincy fan. Ask whomever you like... including the Detroit's chamber of commerce.

To see 4-5 mile backups on the turnpike in Ohio and the 'burgh from Stillerfan returning form the game is a sight to see.

Rack Stillerfan for overtaking yet ANOTHER stadium and claiming it as their own.

Let me get this straight. Are you saying enough Steeler fans have come into Texas Stadium and claimed it as their own?

You must have already forgotten
The play excited the many Steelers fans sprinkled throughout Texas Stadium who waved their signature ``Terrible Towels'' with every first down.

``For a minute there I thought we were in Pittsburgh,'' said Cowboys linebacker Dexter Coakley. ``It felt like it was a home game for them.''

Kinda tells you what kind of town Pittsburgh is doesn't it?

When the city of Detroit, & sittin' in 4 or 5 miles of traffic is considered a vacation...

I think I did read the Burgh was the #1 town in America....to be from. :D

Fuckin' RACK San Diego.....75-80 degrees here today....no 4-5 mile highway backups, and the only Buffalo's in the bars are wings.

My bad. Missed that game while on my honeymoon. I stand corrected.

Props to you, BSmack... and for doing the dirty work for me. I didn't want to have to dredge that quote up from whoknowswhere.

I'll hand that one to ya', Joe.
I may be a Pittsburgh fan, and lifelong resident, but I sure as hell don't have to enjoy living here... which I don't. I'd rather chew a box of razors than spend the rest of my life here.

Update...

You would think that after a SB win, Polamalu would have better things to do than make a cameo appearance in the video clip from the Ohio Turnpike.
