Mace, are you saying the official possibly made an assumption that the ball crossed the line in Roth's possession...?

Sounds that way from what you typed, and it also looked that way from the man's 'mechanics' on the play.

I don't believe that man saw the ball cross the goal line.
I'm saying the the official fucked up the mechanics on the call. I don't know, and am not assuming, why he called it a touchdown but think it's possible that he thought he could make the call and that replay would correct the mistake if he was wrong. I don't know what he saw, or thought he saw, and would "assume" anything. I just through that out as a possibility because officials now have to refrain from blowing their whistles and officiating the way they were originally taught simply so that the play can be reviewed. I think that's a horrible way to have any game officiated but it's a necessity if they use replay.

Mace
Have another fifth.

I'm not an ignorant cunt Mace. Really, I'm not. I have no probs saying the Steelers won the game. They outplayed Seatlle in the second half and Holmgren stepped on his dick in the first half. I just happen to be one of the MAJORITY that believes Muffbergers TD was a bad call and DJ's PI was a horseshit call too. I don't comment on the holding call because I wasn't there (outside BBQ'ing) to form my own opinion.

Anklebiting? Sure. It's easy to get caught up in that when the anklebitee is a dumb midwestern sum bitch.

Careful with that anklebiting, bitch.....it's really easy to get kicked in the mouth.

As for the PI call? It was a good call because the receiver gained separation from the push. He gained an advantage, douchebag, and only an ignorant cunt would fail to recognize that.....or maybe someone who has no clue when it comes to the enforcement of the rules. I'm confident that you'd have disagreed with the holding call too, simply because you're an ignorant.....well, you know.

Mace
Swearing gets you nowhere Mace. Save the cunt bombs for that toothless whore you call a wife.

Your and Bri's arguments have as many holes as your underwear Mace. Get off your high horse and come back to reality. Those calls were questionable. No denying that. I, as well as 80% of voters, are on the other side of the fence.

Sit back, enjoy your fifth, and deal with your cunt whore of a wife. Also, give Bri a few lessons on the art of taking a "shot." You've taken quite a few on the chin in this thread old timer.

Just observing the pic that our guy Bri decided
to entertain us with, it's not hard at all to take
it that the receiver was merely pulling away from
the defender, who had been grasping to his arm.

That play should have been a no-call.

Let 'em play ball.

If the refs are going to be such sticklers on PI, then they should have called the contact beyond five yards by the defender.

The fact that you even have to say that is proof positive that you are indeed an ignorant cunt.

Rack Mace for culling the herd.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

Sticklers? If being a "stickler" when they see an obvious PI is what you mean then, yes, by all means, they should be "sticklers"....especially when the receiver is gaining a clear advantage to catch a TD pass. Same with being a "stickler" about holding when it has an effect on the play.....like the one that was called when the OL was holding a pass rusher before he got to the QB. Yep, those guys in stripes are real "sticklers" 'cause that's what they're getting paid to do.

Mace
If the refs are getting paid to be sticklers, then why didn't they call Hope on the contact with Jackson after five yards (which is against the rules)?
