Help me, chaps.
I've got this AVI file that I can burn to DVD with Roxio, but the audio is way out of sync. Somebody far superior to me on the tech front - please walk me through your technique, and I'll be forever grateful. Can you convert video files into ISOs and burn that onto DVD, for example?
Thanking you in advance.

You can try AVI2DVD which is freeware, or ConvertXtoDVD which has a free trial.
AVI2DVD should be easy enough to use that I don't need to walk you through it, but let me know if you have any problems.

Before we answer DVD bruning questions, let me ask you this: Is your audio out of sync in the AVI file or is it out of sync after you burn it to DVD and play it on a PC or DVD?
If your AVI file is out of sync, you will need to get your hands on a video/audio editor and basically re-sync the audio by hand. Once you get it right, re-create the AVI file and then burn it to DVD.
If your AVI file is working fine, then try the ideas Donovan suggested.
