Dude looked like he had a 2X4 stuck up his ass having to talk about the game.

I'm guessing they avoid the subject the rest of the game.

That was honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen in sports. Mason was a ranked team at some points of the season but for a small school with a funny name to go in a beat 3 of the powerhouse programs and a tough team from a mid-major conference has been one of the most enjoyable things I can ever remember in this tournament. I was too young to see or remember Villanova's run to the title or LSU making the Final Four as an #11 seed...this is why I watch the tournament every year. I knew we were going to see something we've never seen before and this has been nothing short of fun. Call me crazy but Mason can very easily win this whole thing. No disrespect to the other three schools in the Final Four but tell me after seeing their two week run that they can't win the national title. This run is 1000 times better than the first run Gonzaga had when they made it to the Elite 8 and lost to Connecticut. I don't know how next year's tournament could match this year's tournament but I thought last year's tournament was the best I've ever seen. It's truly been a pleasure to be a couch potato for the last two weekends.

I think Mason can beat anyone assuming the other team doesn't show up for large stretches as Ucan't did yesterday. But, the problem is they aren't very deep. And playing the way they did yesterday for 2 games in three days will be tough. Ofcourse, that lack of depth should have killed them when Ucant took them to OT, but, it didn't.

Whatever happens, it has been one hell of a ride for them and is why college hoops is the best damn sport out there. I really hope those fukkers win it all.

Just think of how much fun and how much jack a football playoff would generate.

hopefully, this will foreclose the annual Packer rant about how the selection committee should be composed of some kind of Packer-led star chamber of "basketball experts" of former coaches and cronies that make "subjective" judgements about who belongs in or not. the RPI kind of sucks but at least the formula is spelled out--and makes some attempt to be an objective criteria.

it also puts the Thumb's St. Joe's/Phil Martelli comment from a few years ago in the light of a pattern and not an singular anomoly.
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

Agreed, but mainly because neither Duke nor Carolina made the Final Four.

I can see him right now running around, a la Jimmy V in 1983, looking for someone to fellate.
