Rep. Cynthia McKinney from Gerogia attempted to gain access to the Capitol Building. She doesn't have her ID pin on and she's preoccupied by talking on her cellphone. And she's also having a bad hair day. Cap PD Officer calls for her attention three times before lightly tapping on her arm. She in turn wheels and smacks him with her cellphone. Facing charges she'snow trying to make this a racial issue. Not shit.

What can we learn from this:

1. Be on time
2. Don't forget your ID pin. And if you forget it, wait patiently for clearance.
3. Comb your hair...Afterall you're an United States Representative

She shouldn't have yelled racism, though, but I don't know the full story. There's taps, and there's 'taps' that aren't really taps. you know what I mean?

Like somebody claiming they 'tapped' you when really they grabbed you roughly or slapped you or some shit.

I wanna get my hair that height. If her hair was kinky-permed at that height (or weaved to look kinky-permed) it'd be alright. and that's wrong. With hair that height, you can braid it with less pain.

she just looks worked up about something... and the mascara looks a little heavy. i guess it would be better if she had Condi's 'zeroing upon your doom' gaze, cuz that shows you're more in control of yourself, or are at least holding it in.

there's now been an arrest warrant put out for cynthia mckinney over this.

cindy sheehan was put in jail for several hours and fingerprinted for merely showing up at the state of the union.

that republican congressman's wife slapped and mouthed off at the capitol police -- according to her -- but she was just shown the door. she was not jailed. she was not fingerprinted. no warrant was put out for her arrest.

to me, the cynthia mckinney case -- and whether she's just looking for attention, or if she's absolutely right in spite of it not being the 'in-thing' to claim racism (unless you're part of the new status quo, latino illegal alien supporters) -- rests with a comparison of what happened to that representative's wife.

just because it doesn't sound right (and claiming racism of the capitol police doesn't sound right.. yet) doesn't mean it didn't happen exactly as described.
