Tv show review: What About Brian?>

From the producer of "Lost" comes this new show which sneak peeked last night and will begin its regular weekly showing tonight at 10pm on ABC. It stars Barry Watson who you may be familiar with from the show 7th Heavan.

What About Brian? Has a very interesting array of talented actors and actresses thrown together as a group of couples except for the title character Brian who has a bit of trouble finding the right woman to settle down. It's all stories we have heard and seen millions of times on other shows and movies, but the way they tell it stands out and gives us yet another great show to watch on ABC. In fact they have so many hits they are running out of time slots it seems. They are quickly getting rid of their old hits like Alias and Hope & Faith in order to attract audiences to these new shows.

The show last night introduces us to the characters, theres 3 happy couples and brian. Each couple are at different stages in their relationships: one is ready to have an open marriage, while another is just getting engaged. Brian opens the show by smashing his old blue, wood-paneled station wagon into a woman's car. She yells at him but eventually they get together and she becomes "Car Girl." Brian is just with her to get over the feelings he has for Marjorie who just got engaged to Adam. "Car Girl" or Karen has a cute dog that she brings along. Well in the episode Brian and one of the other guys vows to break up with each others girlfriends. Brian goes through with it and breaks it up with Car Girl but only after giving her a key, which she uses to keep him locked out of his own apartment.
The other guy doesnt break it off but instead propses to his girlfriend.

He goes to stay at the friends house who just got engages, the guy is away on buisness but the girl is there and they drink til midnight and then decide to go steal Brian's computer back from his own house.

they hide in the closet when the car girl comes back from walking the dog. They accidently kiss in the closet. This leads to more tension at the end.

At the end of the show they are all good friends again, the couples are happy, Brian is single, his house is trashed by his ex but she leaves her dog there for him.

The show has great promise as long as ABC keeps it on the air long enough to get a good audience. Monday nights at 10pm is a good time slot, the sports on tv will have most likely ended by then, The Apprentice audience will be switching over, etc.

You should definitely check it out tonight if you get the chance, there are plenty of hot women in the show to look at too.
