What? No love for Luther? Somebody needs to pay for that.
I still miss Catfish.
Porgy is someone you all wish you had read.
Lab Rat is a logical buzzsaw.
Mace is one of the few Republicans I can actualy find common ground with.

There's also folks who I find entertaining, even if I disagree with 'em:
Diogenes (no, I'm not kidding...)

The posters I miss in general, even if they never posted here:

THE BIBLE - Because all the works of all the science cannot equal the wisdom of cattle-sacrificing primitives who thought every animal species in the world lived within walking distance of Noah's house.

As others have hinted, different boards provide different answers. On the whole, I'll go with the following:
B_Smack
Dins
Van
velocet
MtLR
Honorable mention to:
Mikey
Bace
Luther
Uncle Fester
Nish (seems like he's holding something back at T1B)
And I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others.
Posters I miss:
Dr Bob
Index
DMA
Lawman
Also probably a few others I've forgotten.

Moorese (wherever) - his post on Reggie Bush post Rose Bowl had me in tears.

Outside of Moorese, all of those are from the CFB forum. Those others always have good takes. There are others that I read, but purely for the unintentional humor.
Actually, pretty much the entire CFB forum.
I just got Carloos Belltrann.

You know, I'm in a pretty good mood today, considering I'm jet lagged and have a decent cold. I was in the basement for 3 months, and came back with the travel thread.
I haven't even used my scroll wheel yet. My favorite reads? I've named them before and it is still a good list. Now if I've told you that you suck, then probably you still do.
If you took this board and divided it by how you voted in the last Presidential election, you will see a trend. I like the funny stuff and try to bring the funny. I'm a conservative republican, but for the most part republicans just aren't funny. I started to think who were some of the funniest posters here and they were standing on the other side of the street, wearing birkenstocks and holding Hillary signs.
But old republicans still have some funny traits though. They can typically out drink, eat more chicken wings, watch hour after hour of Nascar without getting up to piss. A good nascar fan will never leave the sofa if there is a beer commercial coming up. I think republicans could beat up a higher percentage of dems, in my opinion. Not many dems drive Ford trucks, and not many republicans drive a beemer, hummer or one of those socialist/commie hybrid cars either.

Speaking of people who should be getting their props in this thread...

This fucking tard is the epitomy of "doesn't get it," yet is always the quickest to give himelf mad props. Biggest fucking tard here, or certainly amongst them. Guy comes to a board that emphasises humor, has no sense of humor whatsoever, and tries to bad-mouth the sense of humor of others. A true fucking tard.
Screw this Happy Shiney crap.

Wolfman has to be given a nod. I look forward to each and every post about when he grew up in upstate NY. In fact, when I'm scrolling down and I see the name "wolfman" appear, I immediately stop, go grab another cup of coffee, come back, lean back in my chair, put my feet up, rest the mouse on top of my conveniently arched gut, scroll ever so slightly, and let the man entertain me with his brilliant anecdotes.

..watcha talkin bout Trev, I've always touted myself as a witty Republican.

...concur, Wolfman being an educator rarely wastes words. You can take his stuff to the bank. Put Mike the Lab Rat in the same catagory.
