Looks like they went with him.... He is a hell of an athlete- but they needed line help more. Bad move on NO part... Do they trade Deuce now, or do they try to trade Reggie ah-la Eli and the Giants?
Yeah fuckers.... I'm back

...I'm wondering if they can sign him. His agent out priced him with the Texans, which in turn cost Reggie $$$$ as a #2 instead of #1

I’d love to see the Raiders entice the Packers to swap and us snag Hawk.

Dio,
Why are you so down on Leinart? (Other than the fact that it's the Cardinals and it's inevitable that whoever they pick will be a bust?)

If the db's name isn't Ronnie Lott... you never take a db in the top 10.
but it is the Raiders... they did take a kicker in the 1st.

I could handle that. Then they could cut that douchebag Van Pelt and I could actually start liking them again.

Huff looks like a very nice selection.

I think he's overrated, he'll be a decent NFL QB, but not worth a 10 pick.
And they don't need a QB in the first round, they need OLine and defensive backfield (and maybe a pass rusher).

I agree, but if they were going to go O line, I think they should've worked out a deal to move up and take Ferguson. With Huff gone too, it looks like Leinart might be the best pick available.
You also have to take into account the "glamor factor" he brings to the table. He'll sell a lot more season tickets in that pimp new stadium out in East LA than an O lineman.
