Game 7 - LAL @ PHX

Post by RadioFan »

Should be a hell of a great game tonight.

I can't remember the last time I was actually looking forward to a first-round playoff game that didn't involve my Spurs. This series has had just about everything -- two MVP candidates going at each other, OT games, buzzer-beaters, a suspension, two great coaches playing chess with their lineups, etc.

Nothing personal to RJ and Duane and the rest of the Lake fans here, but I'd really like to see PHX win, if nothing else so I don't have to listen to John Saunders, Mike Tirico and the rest of the fucking broadcasting asshats keep yapping endlessly about Kobe this and Kobe that ... or "Can Phil Jackson do this or that." FUCK that, and FUCK them for the nonstop talking about individuals, when it's clearly a TEAM game.

That being said, however, my head says that LA gets its shit together and wins a very close game tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

By far, this series and the Wash/C-Town series have been the best first-round series of the NBA playoffs in quite some time. RACK it, and good luck for fans of both teams tonight, dogs.

Being a Celtics fan, I pretty much hate the Lakers anyway, Kobe Bryant just makes it really easy hate them.

I will agree with you RF, I think the Lakers have a good shot at winning this game and as much as I hate Kobe he is scary to play against.

I do think Odom has to continue to play well, if he isn't involved the Suns will roll.

Another laker hater here... and no apologies. Grew up a Warriors fan(shut the fuck up) it's only been like 15 years since the playoffs.

I adopted the Rockets while I lived in Houston for 14 years... which was nice... since Dream was a real pleasure to watch.

I loved what Bell had to say about Kobe... thought it was funny as hell!

Anyways, looking forward to tonights game and I'm sure there will be a few of us here.

The line on game is PHX by 6.

Unless somebody on LA gets injured, no way. I'd take LA and the spread in a heartbeat, if I were in Vegas tonight.

Oh yeah, rack Bell.

In a way this series reminds me of the Utah/Portland matchup about 7 years ago when Karl Malone was pulling the same thuggish stunts Kobe is and bloodied Brain Grants mouth with an elbow.

I know Grant is on the Suns roster, I have always had a lot of respect for Grant standing up to Malone like he did in that series.

hey Mo,

What do you think of our draft... with Vernon Davis and Manny lawson?

8)

Looks like a good year is on the way, and we just picked up Dilfer for Dorsey

Fuck The Rapist (and the Junior Rapist) Odom is the guy to watch out for. If Kobe takes over the game, Suns win no problem. If Lamar does, it could get tight. And game 6 was all about Raja. It was his calling attention to the officiating situation in a manner that couldn't be ignored that forced the Hollywood officials to call an even game.

49ers suck man, I don't see them being good for a while, I have always kind of liked the Bears too, and now they are probably going to have 3 Sooners on their roster. I really only get to see either team play if they are on nationally because of the damn Dallas Cowboys, which I hate. It is perfect that TO is on their team, Cowgirl fans have to root for him now.

The Bears always have a thing for the sooners. Not sure why, maybe Lovie Smith?

The Niners are gonna be a lot better than you think, bro.

Dilfer sucks, enough said.

Difer is better than Dorsey, I was never impressed with him, way too much talent around him at Miami, what's up Leinheart?

Hey douchebags, does this need to be moved to the NFL forum or are you going to comment on the game?

Not in Vegas and not when you took Baltimore to win a year early, oh and taking them at -31 was pretty cool too.

So, it's Doug "crybaby" Collins and Kevin Harlan calling this game.

RACK Harlan. Unrack Doug Collins. What a freak.

Seriously, if PHX is up in this game, Collins will, no doubt, be saying ...
In a crying, voice, yet his own wrote:I just don't understand why the Lakers don't go to Kobe more....
And if the Lakers are up ... it's either one of three things ..
In a crying, voice, yet his own wrote:I just don't understand why the Suns don't go to Nash more.
or
In a crying, voice, yet his own wrote:I just don't understand why the Suns don't go to Shawn Merriam more.
or
In a crying, yet-confident-to-him voice, yet his own wrote:The Lakers are up, as they should be. After all, they wen't expected to win this series, but they've been fighting the whole way ... in this game.

BTW, RACK TNT for showing the intros.

Let's get it ON.

Yeah I don't like Collins, he sucks.

As far as Nash goes, what a little stud, He is like 6 foot tall and constantly gets layups against much taller players..amazing.

16-6, Suns.

TO, Jackson.

I fully expected silence from Collins, but not from Harlan. Dudes must be sweating the ratings, early.

Kobe is about to start forcing the offence, normally I would disagree with being a ball hog, but in this case for the most of the rest of this half he might have to.

Lakers just do not have a better team team team, than the Suns do

I love watching Kobe melt when his team starts losing...

Last year, when we aquired Baron Davis late in the season and won the last 15 of our 22 games, we played the lakers in our last or 2nd to last game of the year.

We were up by 45 points at one point, and Kobe was just going off on his teammates... it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Even the fans were laughing in Oakland, and it got so bad that Kobe pulled himself from the game and wouldn't go back in!
