I don't mean belittle you making it this far...just think it's cool to see the Oilers back in the Finals. Edmonton has won the most titles in the last 25 years...you guys know how this routine works. I wouldn't be satisfied with just a conference title either.

Nice there Mr Glasshalfempty. Way to really root for your team. Are you sniffing glue down there or what? Western Conference Title and you get all wahhh wahhh and shit. Haven't been up late or anything have you?
If nothing else you can say we won ONE thing....Shoalzie has been wearing that sweet sig a helluva lot longer than anyone expected.
Victory is mine.
I think I'm going to vomit.
This has been the worst playoffs, since, well, 1991? I suppose actually losing to the Greasers first hand is worse than seeing them in the Finals.
I don't care what virtues the "new NHL" holds.... if one of those is seeing the Oilers in the Finals ever, I don't care for it.
Yup, I'm bitter.
GO EAST!!!!

Bit me. Where was I wahhh wahhh and shit? All I said was that we haven't won anything yet. and I stand by that. Making it to the finals is great but were not here for second place. Let's not loose focus.
From a personal stand point, the best part of this is that Flames fan has nothing on Edmonton anymore.

Well Edmonton was the number 8 seed and they beat Detroit and San Jose on the way, so (as much as I hate the Oilers) they worked hard and deserve to be in the Finals. It also proves hard work can beat talent.
Since they are the only Canadian team left I will cheer them on, as hard as it is. ha ha
Go Oilers Go!

I don't think it matters if they win or lose... that city is going down in flames (no pun intended).Donovan wrote:Especially when it comes to being drunken, bandwagon-jumping idiots. I almost tempted to cheer for the Oilers since they'll probably burn the whole city down if they win the Cup.Joey Moss wrote:From a personal stand point, the best part of this is that Flames fan has nothing on Edmonton anymore.
It makes one wonder though... just when you thought a city couldn't smell any worse, the citizens start burning stuff (including their own smelly clothes).

You two are right. We've got to quit burning stuff and start punching cops 'Calgary style'.JD wrote:I don't think it matters if they win or lose... that city is going down in flames (no pun intended).Donovan wrote:Especially when it comes to being drunken, bandwagon-jumping idiots. Well, eye for an eye, I suppose.
