I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

..alrighty then..now we're down to gleaning 5 game blocks :meds:

BTW..did anybody else notice LT's performance vs. the Giants in 05 when he rolled for 192 yards, averaged 9.1 per, and caught 6 passes, while reaching paydirt 3 times? while the same weekend LJ carried 8 times for 13 yards and a 1.6 avg. while catching exactly zero balls and not getting close enough to the goal line to even sniff paydirt....uh uh..anybody else see that? Now I axe you, who's the better back?

The ONLY reason LJ wasn't in the starting backfield for the Cheifs in week one is because Dick Vermiel's vagina couldn't stand to see one of "his" guys get benched. It sure as hell had nothing to do with talent. If Vermiel had done the right thing at the start of last season, you would be calling LJ the NFL single season rushing record holder.

Oh, and in his part time duties, LJ turned in 399 yards in 75 carries (5.32 yrds a pop) with 4 TDs.

You are always welcome to overpay for players. :P

I'll take any player if I think the price is right.

I've agreed with most of the posts on this thread which makes silence easy. But c'mon Bro. Brooks is STILL a monster. He may be aging like Dawkins but no way can the fork be put in yet.

As to the Cowpattie fan mouthing off about Roy Williams. Dude couldn't cover Napoleon McCallum on one leg and a crutch. If he got to him, he might destroy the other knee, but that is only if he got to him.

About Brooks, you could be right, rozy.
Well, Prisco's got him listed as the 3rd best LB in the league.
At his age (33), I dunno.
Then again, geez, I didn't realize the guy has been to 9 straight pro bowls.
That's first ballot HoF stuff.

Brooks has been the heart and soul of the Buccaneers for the past 10 years. Great LB, team leader and community leader. 9 ProBowls, 10 years over 100 tackles and NFL Defense POY makes him 1st Ballot HoFer. I still think though that his best football is behind, but he still constantly makes 9-11 tackles a game and is never hurt.
