Just want to RACK police officers today

Post by Atomic Punk »

Heartwarming story really has me pumped up this morning.

"
Armed Suspect Shot & Killed by Officer

June 6, 2006 - An investigation is underway in Northeast Fresno after a police officer shot and killed an armed suspect.
It happened late Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex near Shaw and Millbrook.

Police from several different agencies tried to serve a search warrant. They were apparently looking for drugs.

Fresno investigators say when the suspect opened the door, he was holding a gun and that's when an officer opened fire, killing the man.

The suspect has not been identified. "

Has not been identified? Does it matter? One less scumbag in this area and many more yet to pop. This area needs more "cleansing" like this.

Good decision holding a gun while opening the door. When the Fresno PD are routinely taped on the show COPS wearing military type battle gear, I don't think that's how you want to present yourself while greeting visitors.

RACK the FPD!

Why I'll bet that was probably the last drug dealer in the world what with the super job law enforcement is doing keeping drugs off the streets.

That's what I would say too if I killed someone. Whether it was true or not.

I'm ALL about the Bill of Rights...BUT...

If the police have legally obtained a warrant, I'd have a hard time believing they didn't identify themselves before they entered the residence...and if not, the cop cars and badges out front should have told you.

And if the cops show up at your door with a warrant, and you answer said door brandishing a firearm, you've got no one to blame but Darwin.

But holding one when the fuzzies walk in with a warrant ain't exactly bright, either. And not dropping it with a quickness....probably not a good career move.

You can find the same kind of mentality in the Crips and the Bloods.

when the crips and the bloods become law-abiding organizations, i'll give them a pass. until then, i'm siding the with police.
What makes you think the police are law abiding? Remember, ultimate power leads to ultimate corruption.

Why are cops going after drug dealers? Why can't they do something more useful, like giving traffic citations to Toddowen.

Well then, let's tap into your expertise...

Historically, how have people fared in the past when they respond to police officers bearing warrants when they're brandishing a firearm?

The begging/middle of a gunfight is rarely a good time to review your Constitutional Rights with police officers, as a general rule.

Where did I say the guy was smart? The guy likely had it comming to him, just as the first member of Fred Phelp's congregation to get blasted by a grieving family member would have it comming to him. But that doesn't make the cop right, much less worthy of being racked until we know a bit more about this case.

It's not so much the pay...it's more of the "interview process."
