Fuck Jeff Weaver.....AGAIN

Post by Roofer »

Goddamn how much does this piece of wanna be back in Fresneck white trash suck?? Send this cocksucker to RC and give up on him already. I don't give two fucks how much you paid him to be the worst pitcher to don a Halo uniform since.....fuck, since EVER. I'm tired of this assholes first inning implosions ripping any sense of motivation/hope out the insides of his teammates.

Fuck you, Jeff "look at my little bro kick my ass" Weaver., you mullet wearin piece of shit.

There...I feel better.

Sorta.

He actually settled down after the first. Good for him.

When he came up with the Tigers he was destined to be a star. He had an awesome heater and a wicked curveball. Trouble was he didn't learn the mental aspect of piching. He would go up against other teams ace, the Tigs rarely gave him any run support. He would pitch into the final three innings and almost always blow it later in the game. He gave up assloads of dingers. Most fans I know were pissed when they traded him...I think it's worked out well for Detroit so far.

I tend to agree with this, but I'd go even farther on the mental aspect. Certain players can't handle the mental pressure of playing for the Yankees, and he was certainly one of them.

Funny thing was, when we unloaded him I thought he might wind up pitching very well for some other team not called the New York Yankees ('sup Roaster). But he was so fukked in the head by that time that it hasn't worked out in SoCal, either (and sorry, SoCals, don't try to compare SoCal to New York, it doesn't work. Yeah, SoCal is a huge media market as well, but the attitude there just isn't the same as in New York, or anywhere close to it, for that matter.)

Weav was a promising pitcher for the Tigers and I didn't like that trade initially...but looking at it now, I think Bonderman will have a much better career than Weaver has had up to this point. It's unfortunate that Pena and German hasn't panned out though.

Can't stay healthy either. He used to be good for 30 HR/100 RBI/.310 AVG each year. He's pretty much stuck in pergetory with the Royals with his contact and his lack of production.

Yea, I couldn't believe it when I was hearing in the off season how people were trying to sell his signing as a good thing. Then I hear some dumbshit kid on Dodgers post game talking about how they could get him back next year?

Where is this great herb coming from?

he had his moments in L.A but he was never going to reach the "potential" he was supposed to have. Besides he wanted to hang with his bro.

Now, to make matters worse, I'm hearing the Halos are considering sending younger brother Jared down when the BART comes back this weekend. 4-0 with a 1.3somethin ERA in his first 4 starts, and they'd send him back down instead of his brother. Politics in baseball blow, man. What's wrong with a "pay for performance" type environment. I don't give two fucks how much they are paying him, i'd rather pay him that money to be a mediocre Triple A pitcher than give it to him to implode on the mound every 5th day. And the hacks keep saying to wait, that Jeffy will come around. I call bullshit. I've seen enough to know that a quality start with him is the exception, not the norm.
