I could honestly give a shit. I never thought the US was as good as ESPN and SI were making them out to be. We wont be a national power in soccer as long as our best athletes choose baseball, football, basketball and track first. I dont blame them. Soccer sucks.

I'm truly not all that big on grammar smack, considering I catch myself in violation frequently, but THIS is one of my ultimate pet peeves.
It's I could NOT give a shit. If you could give a shit, that means you care. Think about it dipshit.
I do prefer to play/watch the sport of tennis over soccer, but I don't see the arguments for it being less gay. Those soccer hooligans are some tough mothers with the ability to muster more endurance in a 3 hour span than I could in a lifetime.
the vast majority of people in this country could care less regardless of how much the US Soccer federation or whatever the fuck they're called hype it and try and sell this swill to the American public......
and the World Soccer Federation, or whatever the fuck they're called giving the US team some trumped up seeding in an effort to get Americans to watch it won't work either......

Idiocy sure is contagious around here.
then by all means link me up to anything that would contradict what I wrote........
Soccer is great for kids in this country and it be the biggest sport in the rest of the world, but it will never be anything other than a curiousity here.......

I'm guessing your a "soccer parent"......
Go back and read this thread starting with my first post. If you still don't get it...then I, sir, can do nothing else to help you.

I was thinking about this some, and you may very well be right. They're both physically strenuous in different ways, it just seems as though soccer might be moreso considering they cover so much more territory, and stoppage in the game is not nearly as frequent as it is in tennis.
I've never played either at an organized level. Perhaps someone here who has played both, in high school perhaps, can expound on this.

oh okay.....the vast majority of people in this country don't give a flying rat fuck about soccer......
Soccer will never matter in this sport because Americas best athletes dont play soccer, the captain wouldnt be 5-8 and a 143 ponds if the US actually gave a shit about soccer.

Would the captain have breasts as large as those on the female in your avatar?
