Actually, D, probably not. This isn't a "scoop," per se 'cause this type of arrangement happens ALL the time, and usually with car dealerships... The NCAA won't let these guys have jobs during the season, and stuff like this is a big reason why... I know two former players from OU that were laughing about the Bomer thing 'cause they did the same thing for years and were smart enough to do it "right," and to actually work while they were there too...
I know these kind of shenanigans in general are nothing new but if this guy was on the aggie board seven months ago describing what has become a major story in Big Red-scandal you'd have to consider that a scoop.
You gonna bark all day little doggie or are you gonna bite?
is this the same dealership that "sponsored" Brian Bosworth when he was at OU? I read his book when I was in 10th grade or so and he said he was given a corvette, a cel phone and paid several hundred dollars an hour to watch an oil rig pump, if the thing stopped moving, he was to call someone and tell them

my understanding about Bosworth was he had a bank account that now matter how much he withdrew....the account always "zeroed" back to 1000$.
but Bosworth was not highly recruited out of high school....so, FWIW, he was not "bought" as a recruit. just well paid.
