you know that they've been working on an option look with Antoine Savage.....he was a running QB in HS, ya know.

'cause they remember when it was oh so nice!Believe the Heupel wrote:Why is it that every time OU gets a QB who's even MODERATELY fast someone has to start talking about reinstalling the wishbone?

if the field was 20 yards wider, maybe you could run it at the highest level. but, it's nothing unless you can beat LB's to the corner and have pulling off guards knocking those LB's flat on their ass before they get there. people like to say Switzer's teams were undisciplined, but show me a coach who had better team downfield blocking. esp. from WR's and RB's. watch the famous Keith Jackson TE reverse against Nebraska in 86. Spencer Tillman takes the fake counter handoff and is down field blocking for KJ 88 yards later..... as KJ enters the endzone.Jimmy Medalions wrote:No doubt. I just don't think that ship sails the same way today that it did years ago.
But I'd run it in super tecmo...

i can't find the Jackson reverse against NU.....but watch the block as Jackson scores against PSU in the 86 Orange Bowl at about 50 seconds in. that's just good coaching and technique.
