maybe stoops is trying to get his best players on the field as much as possible. Outside of malcom I don't see another receiver I worry about on your team. Besides I dont' know if it really matters with your QB unless he is a great blocker.

we all know what having Roy Williams, BJ Johnson, and Sloan Thomas will get you*. I didn't worry about them.

I'm not worried about OU's WRs. though Vito posted something equally moronic about them earlier a couple weeks ago. i do hope Wilson get's more out of the TE position. I think Finley and the kid from Ardmore can make some plays.

*we all know where this going to go. some hoky stats about Mack and all his Holiday Bowl bids....and winning 10 games year after year. all "proven" de facto by last year. thereby, Vito thinks he can utter any sort of a-factual nonsense and claim it true by virtue of back peddling to last year's Rose Bowl. AD sells crack!

Actually when it was all said and done only Roy Williams panned out as a difference maker. Right now we have 4 guys that all better than Sloan or BJ. We shall see if they can live up to Roy. All I know is our WR vs your DBs is big time in favor of Texas. And your receivers vs our DBs is also big time in favor of Texas. The only real question is can our QB get the ball to them. If that happens you will see another blow out in Dallas.

i think you'd have a hard time finding any analysis that supports this opinion...since OU's db's rank pretty high as a group in most pre-season rags. which doesn't mean anything by necessity.....but does contradict your general level of completely unobjective assertions.

Yea those are the same rags that had you reloading last year. I called out your DBs 2 years ago and I was right. I called them out last year and I was right. Well guess what I still think they are medicore at best. Outside of smith I don't see a single one that worries me. Texas has 4 receivers that any single one would be an all star on about 100 other teams. Get ready cause come October youa re going to see a lot of Pittman, Sweed, Quan, and Shipley.

that's an interesting dissimulation....what does 2 years ago have to do with this year. nearly all Sooner fans knew OU's db's were weak with Pelini in 03....but you are the hero, Vito.

We'll see what happens at the State Fair.
A bunch of fuckin' mouth-breathers congregate in one spot for almost a month, looking for some culture...?

...and then a bunch of Oklahomans show up for a football game and (usually) a good laugh.

Another is m2 trying to smack someone, only to have the plunger shoved up his ass far enough for us to see the top of it come out his gaping man vaccum.

Every so often, OU has a unit that doesn't perform to standard and you crow about how right you were.

Honestly, it's laughable.

Care to look at the all time series record, It looks to me like every so often is actually often. You are right we will see what happens at the state fair. I will be here at the end to either eat my crow or watch you eat yours.

First off I was posting on these boards specifically the Rome board back when Mack II was still the coach. I ate plenty of crap after UCLA in 97 and 98. I took my lumps in 2k and every year since then. Out of every win you have had only 2k caught me completely by surprise. I felt we had a good chance to win in 2k1 and 2k2 but wasn't surprised we lost. In 2k3 and 2k4 I knew we were in for an ass kicking.

I felt as good last year as I did anytime in the 90's. After we took care of tOSU and you lost to TCU I knew were were going to dominate your ass. No big deal, most anyone with eye sight could see that coming.

Just because you haven't called you shot doesn't mean you won't. we got a long time til October and though you might wait til game week to call your shot, I still expect to see you predicting a blOwU victory. If you don't then it will be the first time since I have known you that you didn't.

As for my predictions about your DBs sucking. My opinions had nothing to do with wins and losses. I looked at how they did in 2k4 against the Big 12 teams that could actually pass the ball. From that I knew they didn't stand a chance against USC. Then you graduated a good portion of you defense backfield. So again I said they wouldn't be very good, and they weren't. Again you graduated a couple of DBs and the only one that has looked good thus far has been Smith. So again I don't see them being that great.

In 2k4 the Texas receivers were shit and I said as mch. last year they surprised me I knew they would be better than 2k4 but they played pretty great at times. This year I expect them to be compleely bad ass.

How much clearer can I make it for you. I'm not throwing darts blindfolded hoping I hit something. I visit lots of websites in order to get an idea how good each team is. I fugured you might have put 2 and 2 together since I have posted what others are saying from blOwU sites.

So in sumation

If you don't call your shot your a pussy
the truth hurts
and I do know what I'm talking about, this doesn't mean things won't change as the season goes on it just means that I have eyes and don't see much in the blOwU dbackfield.
