... that will be sent to the NCAA Rules Committee. I, for one, do not want to see fewer plays and change some of the fundamental game strategy for the sake of TV advertizers.

If you agree, go to this link and submit your "signature". Your email address will be sent a message for you to confirm.

I'm very interested in buying one of your wind chimes. How much is one?

Free. All you have to do is make a bet with him. I'll have one shipped free to me once someone other than Tenn wins the SEC.
I'll bet you a jar of BBQ sauce you don't get your wind chime when Auburn wins the SEC. If you lose, you owe me your wind chime.

My wife hates wind chimes so I could hang it up on April Fool's and present it to her. At that point, the wind chime pinata party will ensue.

Ahhh, rural white trash with a view on the topic. Indy/ and a lawyer.

I see most are in favor of the new rules...

If the games just HAVE to be shorter, take minutes off the goddam clock. Don't be hypocritical screwing around with the rules that distort the end of close games, just admit there will be less product. We could have 12 minute quarters, just like high school.

Or maybe we could have a running clock. 15 minutes each quarter, bing bing bing bing, no need for halftime, with only commercial time outs, the game could be over in two hours. Imagine how many games could be televised by a single channel, on the west coast you could get a game at 10, 12, 2, 4, 6, and 8 and be wrapped up for the 10:00 news. After September, all five conference game could be televised on one channel. And half of the telecast would be commercials, leaving plenty of time for between play hype about the next games. TV nirvanah.

There is only one issue here -- money, i.e. greed on the part of TV/ncaa.

Yep. There's been no reason to keep that rule for decades now.
