I just want to rack the Sooner fans on this board.
All of you are, deservingly, pissed about the situation, but have at least been willing to give some props to our players for taking advantage of our opportunities. Whereas, on the other Sooner boards I see most of the posts saying that Oregon would forfeit the game if we had any decency.
Seriously, what kind of weak bullshit is that? Who has ever forfeitted a game due to being the beficiary of a bad call?
You play hard to the end, and take advantage of the opportunities you are given. Oregon did so, on Saturday. The Sooners were given a gift, at the end too, in the form of poor kickoff coverage. The Sooner field goal unit let them down. The coaching staff let them down as well, with an attempted run that almost didn't even let them get the kick off.
There is a thread on the Scout Sooner message board, looking for ex-con Sooner fans in the Northwest to exact revenge on the replay official's family. Wow!
There are also a lot of Nike boycott threats (LOL the Oregon Nike mystique lives on)
Oh well. Time to move on. Its a new week. I hope the Sooners win out!
RACKS to the Sooner fans on this board.

Sooner fans are the tops. I remember how cool they were at the '03 Rose Bowl while OU lockeup up WSU. A couple of em told me that they knew WSU was better than they had played and said they felt bad that Mike Price appeared to be lame ducking it. I got good reports from Duck fans who went to Norman two yeras ago, and again this weekend at Autzen the Sooners I ran into were all class. Even after the loss, where, if I were in their shoes I don't know if I would be able to carry on a decent conversation right after the game. They were cool and said that they were unhappy with the calls but felt Oregon played better thought most of the game so the win was deserved.

Thank you for the love. I guarantee you that, if you're ever hanging out in, or even around, Norman, I'll take you in, I'll buy you a beer, and I don't care if you're Tejas, Oregon, or anything in between... If you're from this board; this crew, then you're down in my town.
I've had drinks with a number of the guys on here (Frisco, Lefty, MO, Liz, Waz, et al...) and "hooked up" others... (How's the football, Froz?) All I ask in return, ever, is a little bit of bullshit. :D
It's all about the love for the game at the end of the day. Period. And we've all been together this long because we love this game.

Excellent!
Thanks for the love, Jay.
