van, tell me that you are not this stupid,

71 nebraska and 71 usc are of a different and inferior generation, therefore, BOTH those teams would be physically crushed by 95 nebraska,

check it out for yourself, look at the linemen for your beloved 72 trojans, see how smallish they are?

you are one stupid sonofabitch, see, 95 nebraska is CURRENT with todays teams, in size strength and speed, 72 usc is not, they are of a smaller, weaker generation,

also, 72 usc had close calls, and 72 usc didnt face 4 final top ten teams, THEREFORE,
you lose,

you can talk all you want about 72 usc, BUT, you CANT refute the facts I just laid out,
what else is there to say?
when you look at the FACTS, 95 nebraska is more powerful than both 71 nebraska and 72 usc,
only a stupid homer like you, dis-agrees,

79 USC had 2 heisman trophy winners, and something like 65 NFL Pro Bowls from players on that team, they did have a tie but if you want to count pure talent on the field, that has to be the most talented team up to now

OK, I can't go here...

I will grant '95 Huskers being a FORCE, a genuine juggernaut, absolutely the biggest dog on the block, meanest of the mean, biggest, baddest, toughest...the bomb. ...In 1995.

Today's teams, any in the top 10 (final standings) would spank the 1995 Cornhuskers. Spank! '05 Texas and '05 Trojans, '04 Sooners, '04 USC, '03 Tigers, '03 Sooners, and '03 Trojans would wipe the floor with the 1995 Huskers. IMHO, I'll give ya 3 years before the best of the best are no longer good enough to beat today's best. 3 years and you're not in the same NCAA generation as today's game.

Giving an 11 year old team props in today's game is insane. It's like choosing Johnny Unitas as the QB for your All-Time NFL team over Montana, Young, Aikman, Manning, etc, etc, etc. Was he awesome in his time? YES... Better than an average Drew Brees in today's game? Not even close...

In no way do I want to dimish the accomplishments of Nebraska in 1995, but you gotta be kidding me...

sorry to make you look stupid, BUT, you are stupid!

did you just bring up johnny unitas, and use that as comparison?
YOU ARE STUPID!
unitas played 40 years ago, players from that long ago, are too slow, too weak, too small,
IN CONTRAST,
95 nebraska had players just as big and strong as today, JUST AS FAST,
the generation of today, is on the same level as the mid to late nineties, before that, if you go to the eighties or the 70's, there is a noticeable dropoff in size, speed and strength,
FOR YOU TO SAY, that todays teams would spank 95 nebraska, means that you HAVE NO CLUE about big time football,
lets take a look,
for starters, lets look at 05 texas, the national champs, and put them against 95 nebraska,
IT WOULD BE A FUCK FEST,
vince young would get himself seriously hurt, the blackshirts from 95 would crush him,
our front seven would seriously cripple him, he'd have no where to run, AND, if vince young tried to pass? he'd be sacked, and intercepted at least 5 times.
IN FACT, the 05 longhorns would have trouble gaining any yardage on the ground against 95 nebraska,
the blackshirts from 95 were way too physical a football team, in the weight room, 95 nebraska would make a joke of 05 texas,
WOW! you must really be a fag fool, to imply that texas could do anything to the blackshirts of 95, vince young would be seriously hurt if he tried to run on that sick defense, and forget about vince trying to pass the football, not gonna happen,
are you stupid?

Nebraska blew TWO 17 point leads, eh?

Wash St simply kept the score of the game close (like most people predicted they would). But, they never took control of the game, like KU did against NU near the end. NU was lucky just to win. SC merely let Wash St hang around on the scoreboard.

And yes, losing to KU would be worse than losing to Wash St. I think most people, who've been paying to CF this year, would be able to agree with that.

-WSU was playing at home

-Nebraska was playing Kansas in Lincoln

-USC already ruined Nebraska, head to head

-Case closed
