if the thrashers uni's weren't bad enough...
check out this monstrocity:
now we know what happened to all the stem-cell research babies who didn't make it into the trash can: they got marketing gigs with the thrashers.
a firing squad couldn't undo the injustice these unis have done to hockey.
sincerely,
FIRE LEEEEERY!

This is the worst trend in uniforms in the moderan era.
If you're going to have stripes and designs and shit down one sleeve, for god sakes do it on the OTHER sleeve too. None of this half and half bullshit. Of course, it'd be ideal to axe the whole concept to begin with, but these dipshits obviously aren't getting the memo that everyone hates it.

Yeah, he's been battling Lilja for the 6th defense spot...Babcock hasn't gotten it through his head that Lilja is slow and not very physical and Lebda helps the offense with his ability to push the puck up the ice and he's got a great shot from the blueline on the power play. A lot of fans would much rather see him play than Lilja. Lilja signed a contract extension last year for a million per and it almost seems like he's got to play because of that.
i was always impressed by lebda after watching him at ND over the years, and you said it best: he's got a great shot, is offensively gifted and can qb the power play, and he's got some quickness for being a big guy, and he can play the body well. i was surprised to see him start the season with the team last year, but i can understand why they have him around. dude's going to be a solid contributer real quick like.Shoalzie wrote:Screw_Michigan wrote:shoalz, what's the deal with lebda? did he make the squad out of camp?

The Admirals new logo is actually an aged version of the team's logo from the late 1970s: A short young lad, who was lost in the waters of Lake Michigan back after the 1981 season and was recently found. The only thing that managed to keep him alive all these years was his fighting spirit. After one of his legs fell off, he used it as a hockey stick to hone his skills, the Admirals said.MuchoBulls wrote:Just saw this at the AHL store website. Milwaukee Admirals jersey for 2066-2007. Yikes!
What? The head office in Milwaukee has been dipping into the dope.
Pierre McGuire: "The Washington Capitals are the sleeping giants of the East. Exciting times in Washington are coming."
