Hey Wags...

Post by the_ouskull »

Uh... what happened to the "fierce pass rush" and your "ball-hawking secondary?"

Mizzou's defense: 0 INT's.
OU's offense: 0 INT's.
Mizzou's defense: 1 sack for 8 yards.
OU's defense: 1 sack for 12 yards... not to mention the pressure that forced Midget McScrambles into 3 oskies.

Advantage: Darwin.

Wags, for future reference, stick to what you know.. not a fucking thing. Mizzou ends the season 8-4. I said it before this game and I'm standing by it.

Probably not, but since I got called out by this one, reckon I'll take my medicine here.

Props to the Sooners, obviously a much better team than my Tigger pussies.

They were bigger, faster, stronger, and most importantly to the result of this game, played and coached 10X smarter than Mizzou.

Sure, I could whine about how that personal foul call for roughing the punter was total bullshit and came at a time when Mizzou had momentum turning their way, but the fact remains that OU simply punked us today.

This game was over when Temple fumbled that ball in the 1st half and we totally abandoned any semblance of a running game after that. Good God Pinkel, 1st down at the 2 yard line and you don't even try a power I-back formation even once in 4 downs? If you can't even threaten to run the ball, teams will just pin their ears back and come after the QB.

As well, the MU defense was so tired after being on the field all day, OU just ran the ball down their throat again and again. That happens when your scoring drives take 1:36 and your opponents take 8+ minutes off the clock.

Props to that OU QB. Dude made some really nice passes today.

Oh, and skull? You maybe right about that 8-4 prediction. After today, I certainly don't see them rolling into Lincoln and leaving with a win.

Well, don't say that too quickly. It's not like Nebbish is looking like world-beaters against the T. Boone Pickens All-Stars...

But, sincerely, props to you for sackin' up. It could have been worse. Peterson could have been out there. :D

BTW, what the hell kinda name is "Orcinus"? Sounds like a mid-Missouri Farm & Home store.

At any rate, props to the Sooners.
