for the referees here...

Post by SoCalTrjn »

In the USC V. Oregon State game, Dwayne Jarrett caught a ball 2 yards inbounds but was up in the air and had the lower half of his body pushed to the boundary line before he came back down to the ground.
When did the forced out of bounds rule change and since that is the way it is called now... if a player was to jump in to the air to catch a ball, even within the hash marks, and he is caught in the air by the defensive player, can the defensive player walk to the sideline and drop the offensive player out of bounds thus making the pass incomplete? Would this also apply to the endzone? Seems this also happened in an NFL game this weekend as well

B-t-H, here's another one I heard about yesterday...

Fourth and whatever...

The receiver makes the fourth down catch and he's beyond the first down marker. He then fumbles and the ball rolls back to the wrong side of the first down marker, where it's recovered by his own team. There is no dispute about whether the catch was made. It was a definite catch and a subsequent fumble.

Mark the play as forward progress and a first down, or mark it where the ball was recovered following the fumble and possession is then turned over on downs?

That was an interesting one that I can't remember ever seeing before. I wanna say the latter ruling was the call on the field but I only heard about the play third hand so I'm not sure...

Cool.

Now, B-t-H-, this one's more of a coach's call than a ref's call...

A decent looking girl you work with and rather like and enjoy is flirting with you. She's making it obvious she really likes you and she wants your continued attention, if not much more.

She comes to work one day in a pair of tight jeans, even though you told her to wear a fucking skirt for once. Her ass is only okay, not bad, but not Keyra-esque either. It's a 6 ass, maybe a 7, but no better.

The jeans don't really flatter her. Stupid cut, stupid designs. Very hokey.

"What do you think of these jeans? Do they make my ass look fat?", she says jokingly, knowing she's at least safe there since she's not a fatass.

Do you take the safe route by kneeling down a few times before heading into the locker room with a decent half time lead?

"They look nice."

Or, do you tempt fate by going deep?

"Look, you stupid ingratiating whore, did I or did I not tell you to ditch the stupid jeans thing and start showing up in some proper Slut Wear? Wtf is that?? You couldn't get G Pete sprung in those things!"

Tell her if you can go balls deep in her ass, then it isn't fat.

You misread me, B-t-H. That wasn't a dig at you, it was a mirthful compliment applauding your typical gunslinging approach...

Anyway, the scenario/coach's question is fiction anyway, a montage comprised of cliche'd conversation snippets. Knowing your history regarding coeds and recognizing that the thread had turned into a "Ask B-T-H...." session, well, the urge hit me to take it into a more humorous "vacuous slut" direction, with you playing the role of a demented Bill Cowher. I felt you'd be right at home in passing along your usual pearls of wisdom in that arena.
