Prediction: B-12 best conf next year

Post by Vito Corleone »

I'm going on record that next year the Big 12 is going to be the top conference.

Why?

Mostly because of the young QBs that are in the conference.

Chase Daniels
Gram Harrell
Colt McCoy
Stephan McGee
Bobby Reid
Josh Freeman

That is half the conference that has a solid QB coming back. I have no idea what the rest of the conference has coming back but I know that Nebraska is doing much better and I expect them to get even better next year. Even the two cellar dwellers, Baylor and Colorado will be much better next year. I still think that CU under Hawkins is going to be a bad ass team within 2 more years, but next year I expect them to be very very competitive.

Oklahoma will bounce back, their oline is performing a lot better than I expected, their defense has got some good young talent if they can get a good QB they will a challenger for the conference yet again.

If the Aggsy can get a good coach they will be scary, everything is in place for a good run next year for them.

Texas will not have much of a drop off, I think the offense will be better next year especially with all the backs and receives coming back. The defense will be pretty salty with exception to the DBs who will be pretty green. One of the good things about all the injuries there this year is that it has given some of the freshmen dbs a chance to get a little playing time. I think Texas starts off #1 or 2 and holds the spot all year.

Thoughts?

You're an idiot. Those are my thoughts. Opinions on what you just stated...? Eh... could be.

I don't see Tejas starting off #1 or #2, and I certainly don't see them keeping it all year. It'll be nice to see how "the other half lives," re: your skill players playing behind a new line. They're not going to have a big drop-off, 'cause Mack won't let them. He'll recruit exactly what he needs... a-hole. :D
