Jack Reed was interviewed on Ed Schultz today, and said some very conciliatory things about both Rummy and Bush, while also touting this as a positive move. My guess? Last week he laid an ultimatum at rummys feet. If the repubs lose control, rummy throws himself under the bus, in a way to placate the incoming dems, who hated rumsfeld.
