If that holds(but that's why they play the second half, I guess), it really opens the door for Arkansas, eh? But the Piglets have a tough road to hoe ahead.
Heck, even this devout SEC hater(whenever you're ready to come Out West and get your ass kicked SEC, just pick up that phone for the first time in decades) is enjoying the heck out of SEC ball this season.

I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one
There are 15 teams as of now with 0 or 1 loss...if you're a team like LSU, you've got to hope for a lot of wild shit to happen. You go to one of those fraud big money games if you win the conference but other than that, two losses in college football pretty much doesn't get you more than a bowl of squat stew.

yes, as did Arkansas and the SEC lost all 4 gamesBelieve the Heupel wrote:Didn't Auburn play a home and home with USC recently?
Miss State played a home and home with Oregon and lost both
LSU played 2 home games for LSU vs Zona and an away game at ASU (after Katrina made it impossible to play in Baton Rogue and also hosted Oregon State but has yet to make a return trip, or schedule one.
I think Tenn goes to feCal next year but I doubt Auburn will have the balls to play at Wash State, especially if they play the Cougs at a time of the year that would give Wazu the same advantage that Auburn had playing in the humidity of September... But i cant think of anything Id rather see than Tubberville wrapped up in blankets as Auburn plays on the Paloose in November

USC has an open home date next year and road trip for 08, all LSU needs to do is make the call and book the flight
as it stands right now, LSU has 3 home OOC games and a third at the Superdome in New Orleans. Im sure they can take Appalachin State, Tulane or Middle Tennessee State off their schedule and take a roadie to LA to play USC..... if they had anyting in the nutsack

I would like nothing more than to see that happen but i know there is no need to hold my breath. I don't even bother going to or watching those scheduled blowouts against those JV teams. I'd much rather take my chances against somebody like USC or anyone else worth a shit. A playoff system would also help to make those matchups occur more often. Too bad that shit is never gonna happen.SoCalTrjn wrote:USC has an open home date next year and road trip for 08, all LSU needs to do is make the call and book the flight

a playoff will never happen as long as AD's continue to play dial a win home games in certain conferences.
I have a hard time calling the game in New Orleans a road game for LSU and they still have 7 games in Baton Rouge.
LSU's 4 road games next year are all laughable, Miss State, Ole Miss, Alabama and Kentucky.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. You still need either Tennessee or Mississippi State to knock off Arkansas to even have a shot at the SEC championship.Jsc810 wrote:Yes, I was talking about possibly making the SEC championship game.
2 losses = no NC
But you can still have a very good year with 2 losses, and a SEC championship would be nice.

Not going to happen. Arkansas can definitely give Florida a game in the SEC Championship.Terry in Crapchester wrote:Don't get too far ahead of yourself. You still need either Tennessee or Mississippi State to knock off Arkansas to even have a shot at the SEC championship.
