Explain to me exactly how THAT one's considered a rivalry when the entire history of that series is almost a never ending tidal wave of Yankee glory and Red Sox misery.

1. If you look at regular season matchups and all, it's probably a fairly even rivalry in terms of all-time wins and losses. Granted, the Yankees have had more success in crunch time, but that brings me to point 2 . . .
2. From this Yankees' fan's perspective, '04 more than compensated for all the beatdowns my Yankees have put on the Red Sox in the past. :brad: I expect to beat them whenever it matters.

this isn't some college vs college game, this is a game between fans who hate each other with a passion. There is true hatred for each other, the players know and feel the hate when they get together. Not a pretty game(record wise), but being the 2nd oldest rivalry in div.1(and creators of homecoming) it has a ton of meaning for the whole year. rack the border war.
many years, going 1-10 would be accepted, as long as you didnt lose to KU.

might have 2 extra duckets for saturdays game. got 4, then bought 2(different section)(2 people bailed), but looks like the 2 wont be used, so let me know. they are free and will be sitting at ticket office. will know if they are available wednesday, have a couple maybes, and giving them till wed.
