Welcome to KC, SoonerFan!

Post by Truman »

...Er, that is, provided Oklahoma can keep from stepping on its own crank in Stillwater tomorrow. And not an easy task that, given the nature of the Bedlam Series.

As a Mizzou fan, I really don’t have a dog in this hunt. But I can’t help being more than a little pleased to see that my town is set up to host The Game that every Big 8 fan can’t wait to see:

OU-Nebraska.

Big Red vs. Boomer Sooner

Oh, the hues may all be just a shade different, but Arrowhead will once again be a Sea of Red come December 2. And instead of 30,000 Burnt Orange Tejas fans cleverly disguised as empty seats, the Big XII Championship Game suddenly just became the toughest ticket in town.

Rack OU, Nebraska, and all their fans. We’ll see y’all here in a couple of weeks!

Exactly. Anything can happen in Stillwater, especially given that a win for OSU will mean a bowl bid, so both teams have something to play for. That, and there is something about a rivalry game and stuff.

I'm not taking Saturday for granted, not by any stretch, but I am fucking PSYCHED about a potential OU-Neb Big 12 championship game. The weather is supposed to turn much colder by mid-week next week, too.

Okie St. will be a tough task. (We should know)
Honestly...it will be tougher for NU to beat OU than UT without McCoy.

Hope to see ya in KC Sooner!

Nope. Simply paying homage to ancient rivalries.

Sure would be nice to see the Black and Gold play in a game with some modicum of magnitude someday. But probably not in my lifetime - well, maybe the kids...

BTW, Does it bother you that Mizzou hasn't won a Conference Championship outright since before you were born?
Fuck 'em both.
...From one who ascribes to the theory that it's windy in Kansas because Nebraska sucks and Oklahoma blows, eh, Wags? To each his own, I reckon. Ever been to a Championship Game? Personally, I'd rather see this town play host to 80,000 Big Red and SoonerFans bent on having a good time than a handful of arrogant and surly Bevo's telling me how much better their barbecue is...
I'll allow they have a right to be here, but I don't have to like it.
I"ll allow that I hope they get all liquored-up, drop wads of cayshe, stuff the barn to capacity, and then go home and brag to their neighbors about the great time they had in KC.

Okay, THAT blast made me laugh out loud.

"this maked"??? (Ahhh, shit! He edited it!! :-) )

"homosexual fairy faggott faggottty conf."!!!

I think it was the double use of "faggott" and the extra "t"s in "faggottty" that finally put that post over the top. You could just feel the love pouring out from dude there...

van, lets not talk about grammar in this forum, ok?
this is a forum for REAL MEN, talkin' bout BIG TIME SMASHMOUTH POWER FOOTBALL,
which is exactly the kind of football which will be played in KC come saturday,
NEBRASKA -OKLAHOMA is the very definition of smashmouth power football, not like that homosexual stuff you play in the pac ten, against un-ranked pussy juice oregon st.

nah, just a bad case of sour-grapes and red-ass, Tru... and too damn much lite beer, prolly.
BTW, Does it bother you that Mizzou hasn't won a Conference Championship outright since before you were born?
Not so'd you notice or anything... much.

Yes, I can already see/hear the gang fights down at the Ameristar casino as one side of the gaming floor shouts out "Boomer" after hitting for a $5 double down bet at the blackjack table, and the return "Sooner" after another hits "odd" for $5 on the roulette wheel. Husker fans playing the penny slots are in a lather when they go to bonus on the Cashman machines and try shouting down OU fan with taunts of "GO BIG RED" until the wee hours of the morning.

Can't wait.

Brad, being that this is a forum for REAL MEN why do you spend so much time constantly describing homosexual acts?

van, the real reason I resort to homosexual and faggott descriptions, is so that you can see the TRUTH about your beloved pac ten.
OTHERWISE, you will continue to live in utter denial, and think that pac ten football is tough. its not, and, it never has been.
using extreme terms like homo, fairy, faggott, faggotty, and tinkerbell, just drives that REALITY home for you.
believe me, when usc loses to pussy juice oregon st. it really shows you how faggotty the pac ten really is.
the pac ten is finesse football, while the big 12 is smashmouth.
ya follow?
which is why texas ran the rock PHYSICALLY down ur pussy throats.
the pac ten reminds me of a soft inviting, warm pink pussy vagina, WHILE the big 12 reminds everyone of COCK n' BALLS.
got it?
did I miss anything?

Actually, no, besides Vince's wild ass scrambles Texas didn't do much on the ground against USC. They got it all from Vince, both through the air and on his scrambles. Jamaal Charles and Selvin Young weren't big time factors at all.

Nebraska didn't do shit on the ground against USC either. Nor did an undefeated OU in '04, even with Adrian Peterson having his best season.

Nebraska actually turtled when faced with USC. They essentially quit, brad, they quit. Callahan saw the writing on the wall and he decided to do nothing but attempt to avoid getting completely blown out...and still they lost by nearly three TDs. Nebraska didn't even try to win. Disgraceful.

Smashmouth football? Yeah, Nebraska definitely got smashed in the mouth. Next year it's going to be much worse for you guys when USC goes into Lincoln with an experienced team rather than what you faced this year; a bunch of noobs playing in only their second collegiate game...

Anyway, enjoy your date with m2 in San Diego. We're all truly looking forward to watching you two forcibly tonguing each other.

Brad, so, you say the Pac 10 reminds you of warm wet pussy vaginas and the Big 12 reminds you of Cock n' Balls...

...gotcha...

... and, you positively hate the Pac 10 and and you uncontrollably lave the nearest hat rack at the very thought of anything Big 12...

...gotcha.

Back when I was...oh, say, about 12 years old, back in math class, they taught us what a "GREATER THAN" sign was, and what it meant.

Let me know if you need help with any of the other mathmatical signs, such as "=" or heck -- any of the other keys on your keyboard, for that matter.

Although I'm guessing you're already quite familiar with the D-U-M-B-A-S-S keys.

Yet you've devoted what little brain capacity you have to familiarizing yourself with the ins-and-out of emoticons?

"Ponderous" doesn't do that concept justice.

thanks van, you NOW understand why your beloved usc trojans could NEVER compare to the 95 huskers,
against 95 NU, vince would have been seriously hurt, and carted off the field, but against usc, he ran up and down that field like a knife thru warm butter.
in fact, vince connected with his slow white tight end, so many times, as to totally embarrass your shit secondary,
now you see the STARK differences between your usc trojans, and the ALL TIME JAUGGERNAUT, 95 NU.

Well said, Brad. Oh, sure, Zhukov's '45 Reds held a distinct advantage in men and materiel over Schwarzkoph's '90 Americans, but what Stormin' Norman lacked in in arms and troops, he made up with cunning and speed....
