Koetter Fired
ASU fires football coach Dirk Koetter
Dammit! I was hoping the victory over 'Zona would have ...
... given him another year.
Any chances he'll end up as QB coach or OC for Nebraska? After all, they've got a dam' fine new QB, I hear.
Any word on Belotti or Harris?

2. no
3. With Koetter's decisions, all the more reason to be optimistic of Sam Keller's abilities.
From what I've heard, with him on scout team, the players and coaches are very much impressed with his arm strength.
The d backs have said no one that they have played against this season can compare.
You'd think they'd be better for it.
This is a little surprising, I thought the win over a resurgent 'zona team would at least buy him the chance to coach for his job at the bowl. But I guess ASU had made up their minds and want to get rolling on a coaching-search. I wonder who the candidates are. That is a nice job.
You gonna bark all day little doggie or are you gonna bite?
funny thing is that Brian Price from Crenshaw is supposed to be UCLAs prized verbal yet he was hanging out on the USC sideline during the Notre Dame game. The Seer wrote:Not to be outdone by the plethora of recruits SuC invited to the ND game, here is our "coach" with one of his recruits....
Look for ASU to go hard after Norm Chow, ASU's AD Lisa Love was at USC when Norm was hired and will look to someone she knows to take this job. The animosity that may or may not exist between Norm and Pete Carroll will also be interesting if Norm is a head coach in the Pac 10. Plus with ASU's warm weather, great facilities and little to no academic requirements that school may have a good chance to become very good

No real surprise. Koetter hasn't had control of that team for two seasons now. My Sun Devil friends couldn't be happier.
I've heard reports that they will go after Chow. He and Carroll don't like each other at all, according to Chow's son. No big deal - happens in life every day. He's not HC material. This makes ETCU a natural choice.
