Since We've Been Discussing the BCS
I just had a wild thought. Let's say, first of all, that USC beats UCLA and thereby clinches a berth in the BCS championship game. That, of course, means that the Rose Bowl will get the first two picks, and it would also ensure that LSU is not an automatic qualifier for a BCS at-large bid.
Now, let's assume that Cal does a number on Stanford, something like 63-0, Oklahoma loses to Nebraska in the Big 12 championship game, and Georgia Tech beats Wake Forest in the ACC championship game. That means that Cal likely passes Oklahoma, Wake Forest, and of course, the loser of the Rutgers-West Virginia game. Any chance Cal could leapfrog Tennessee (who is idle next week and only leads Cal by .0593 points in the BCS standings), avoid a leapfrog by Nebraska (currently .0924 points behind Cal), and land in the Top 14? And if so, any chance the Rose Bowl takes Cal over LSU or ND?
I certainly hope not. We'll never hear the end of m2 if it happens.

A lot. And don't get me wrong: I'm not saying it will happen, only, what if it did happen.
Maybe I just had a moment of panic.
That's what I want, too.Van wrote:What we WANT for Cal is a Holiday Bowl matchup with Nebraska. m2 vs bradhusker, that's what we want and god willing and Boomer Sooner that's what we're gonna get!

I am with Van. bradhusker vs. m2ool would be apricot.
Of course, if TiCs scenario were to play out, the meltdown when Kal gets WAXED in that game would be apricot as well.
Ideally, Stanford beats Kal and they fall off the map.

and of course it goes without saying that KAL would get butchered by the huskers, in fact, there are maybe 4 or 5 teams in the entire country who could beat nebraska in a bowl game,
and KAL is not one of them,

I recall a recent assraping Cal put on "the Corn".
The Korn bends over for Cal again.
Wait... that's not the funny part.Davis, on the first day that midyear junior college transfers were eligible to sign letters of intent, broke his oral commitment of two months to Nebraska. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound ex-U.S. Marine said he signed with California.
Now that's the funny part!Last weekend, Davis made an official recruiting trip to California. In an odd twist, he displayed photos of Callahan and NU assistant coach Bill Busch on a personal Web site that also prominently featured the Cal Bears' logo.
Did you see the funny?

...and there we have it....
....the official slapping of the faces with dainty gloves. The duel is on beween m2 and brad...
WOOT!!
Btw, m2, nabbing somebody's recruit (as opposed to beating them in an actual game on the field) doesn't really count as an ass raping. Not so much. If everybody involved with Cal football is as easily satisfied as you are with something so small and insignificant then I think we've finally identified Cal's problem.
