BCS selection show
Pretty corny so far.
Fiesta OU vs. Boise St. This may be a decent game.
How obvious is it that UF is getting the nod? Could they show scenes from Gainesville more?

I started watching that bullshit on Fox and decided that it's time for ESPN. I don't care if I don't see who's in 10 seconds earlier. Fuck Fox and their "show."
Wait, hold on here ... another shocker -- the Orange Bowl:
Wake vs. Louisville
No way!
Who could've predicted it?
My only question is, for the average viewer ... which will be the most conducive for the longer nap, the game, or the halftime show?
Think they'll print up shirts for Wake fans saying: The Orange Bowl: The BIG GAME II!

Hell, bro, I was screaming the loudest when OU lost to KSU a couple of years ago about how fucked the system was.
As of this moment, however, I'm waiting on USC's Rose Bowl opponent ... Mich or LSU.
I'm thinking the BCS is now praying for Florida to validate thieir mess by beating OSU. If Ohio St kills Florida, man, the hue and cry will again be brutal for the BCS.
Sad thing is, take a look at recent history. The team that got into the title game under a cloud of controversy (Nebraska in '01, OU in '03, OU in '04) got rolled. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Florida playing that role this year.

LSU ND in the Sugar.
#4 vs. #11 !! Wasted opportunity to get UM and LSU together.

I ask again, why on earth would the Rose Bowl even consider LSU over Michigan, now that Michigan is shut out of the title game. Michigan is a one loss team, they're ranked higher and USC-Michigan is a classic Pac 10-Big 10 match up, just the kind they prefer.RadioFan wrote:Nah. :)Van wrote:RF, not a fan of the politics of CF eh? Doesn't make a difference to me.
USC lost to 2 unranked teams. They get rewarded, getting a virtual home game. They should have to go across the country and play someone else.
Oh well. The Rose Bowl is my favorite. Here's hoping Lloyd lets it all hang out like he did back when he had us winning Bowl games yearly over SEC teams.

Actually, I fully expected Mich to be there against USC, and was hoping for it, just to see that game. Especially after watching you and Mace go at it.Van wrote:I ask again, why on earth would the Rose Bowl even consider LSU over Michigan, now that Michigan is shut out of the title game. Is it "tradition" to which you refer? Bwaaah. Hey, there was an outside chance the Rose could take LSU ... yeah, as if. About as likely a chance of the Suger not taking ND.
Btw, I'd love to see Mich pound the shit out of Trojans. Don't think it will happen, especially because your team has a virtual home game, coming off of a loss. But then again, Mich is fired up and pissed not to be in the "MNC" (that's pretty pathetic, btw -- "MNC", in quotes -- sort of like the ultimate oxymoron, in CF).
What I would like to see is a split MNC. No offense. This year, next year and every fucking year until the end of time, until we get a fucking PLAYOFF, Van.
LSU, btw, is going to make ND look like a high school team. That is the asskicking I really want to see, this pathetically debacled time around. Again.
Yeah, yeah. So what's new, I know.

God, I hate Fox. I can't wait to see the multi-million dollar graphics they use for the MNC game. Pay attention, Michael Bay. You might get some ideas for your live-action Transformers movie.
Barry Alvarez in the booth? Fuck, I'm glad I have Sirius.

God, I need to find a ticket to this game because I see no way to watch Fox's coverage without puking my guts out. Absolutely horrid.

You'll be able to turn this game off at the end of the 1st quarter. Seriously.WolverineSteve wrote:LSU ND in the Sugar.

Cal #8 in the country is tied with $C 9-9 in the 4th quarter. They lose by 2TD's and drop to #23 in the country.
ND #6 in the country is never in the game against $C and loses by 3TD's and drops to #10 in the country.
Huh???????????????
Psst.... Cal had the 2nd toughest schedule in the country
The Sugar is gonna get ugly, and ND will still be ranked in the Top 10 again... to start the season next year.
Notre Dame needs to join a conference... maybe the WAC? Where they'll be in the middle of the pack and we won't have to see them in another bowl they don't deserve to be in.
