we suddenly let Saddam Hussein out of jail?

Would Iraq become even more bloody?

Would the civil war spread throughout the islamic world?

What else would we need to do to make sure that happens?

Given that the baathists are now trying to regain some level of control in the country by demanding the US leave and the current government be dismantled, I'd guess letting saddam out would result in a balls out bloody civil war.

Although that may well happen anyway.

Well, in all honesty, I believe an amicable solution can be found by coalition forces egging local militia headquarters.
