With all due respect...what is that? A minor league Idaho hockey team?
How does one become enthralled with such a team? How does one move from California...and sever allegiance with any team one has there?
Let's put it this way...in my brief time as a CA resident, I didn't throw away my PSU shirts and hats. I didn't start mooseknuckling the local minor league hockey team, which after a google I find would have been this:

I didn't follow USC, UCLA, Stanford. I didn't don a Clippers hat.
Dammit, I had my teams, and had them good. I attended sports bars at 9:00 am Saturdays, and took in PSU games. I went to Santa Monica to watch Steeler games...in rooms full of Steeler fans, no less.
In fact, my search for info about my teams intensified, if anything.
Is it something about the Cali Sports soul that invites debasement (no m2, I'm not talking about where you keep your renskanks chained to the wall, I'm talking about debasement)? Is there nothing compelling enough to demand fealty, regardless of locality?
Though Paterno's bones may splinter...though Big Ben pitches directly to defenders...though PSU hoops may unendingly SUCK...those are the rafters that I am shingled to.
