I have to be to night court at 6. Then it's the "hurry up and wait" game, and if I'm lucky, I get home around, oh, 9:30 or so. Tomorrow, the kids will be mad at me because they didn't get to see me before bedtime. But it's better than them hating me, I suppose, and those days will be here before I know it.

Sounds like your life is all play and no work. That's cool, but some of us do have to work for a living. And some of us have responsibilities beyond ourselves and our own immediate gratification.
