2007 Preseason Top 10

Post by See You Next Wednesday »

1. Kal - Obviously
2. '95 Nebraska - Would be number one if it wasn't for the 12 year layoff
3. USC
4. Some SEC Team
5. Some Big 10 Team
6. Some Team that is really good in a bad conference, i.e West Virginia
7. Some other SEC Team
8. Texas or Oklahoma
9. Notre Dame
10. A team from Florida
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Some early entries in the draft could affect that but it's a pretty good list for right now. If Russell and Brohm leave early, I'd bump out LSU and Louisville. Ohio State is a little too high with Smith graduating. Wisconsin could have the best team top to bottom in the Big Ten for next year considering they don't lose much.

I'm thinking that the Buckeyes shouldn't be on this list. An untested QB, Ginn/Gonzalez possibly leaving at WR, and a dropoff (albeit small) at RB if Pittman leaves. O line is losing three (LT, RG, and C). Expecting overall D to improve with a season under their belt and losing only three starters. Am expecting them to challenge in 08 in the Big 10 and attend a BCS bowl.
