Combo of factors here:

Turnovers and the stupid 4th-and-1 decision are killers. You can't do that stuff and expect to win against a quality team

Meyer has had a month to gameplan to his offense's strengths and it was time well-spent. For the first time in a bowl we're seeing Tressel getting outcoached.

OSU just may not be as good as we thought. Wiscy wasn't on the sched. Texas was obviously overrated. Plus USC looked significantly better against Mich than OSU did.

But there is another half to go and Tressel has tradtionally been money in bowls. Maybe they turn this one around yet.

Telling his guys to actually block a D-lineman might be a good "adjustment." Maybe by the third quarter, he can move on to the advanced adjustments, like picking up a blitz....wait, better stick with the basics to start. Maybe just go with blocking the D-linemen for now.

Florida's defense has been OUTSTANDING. Which is what I remember from seeing their games this season.
