I am coming out of my self-imposed ban for some quicks thoughts before I return to the crypt.......
I picked OSU to win late in the fourth, too much Troy Smith. Something along the lines of 31-17.
Wow was I wrong.
UF WAS disrespected across the board. I read that everytime another pundit, analyst, homer picked against them it was posted up in the lockerroom.
Motivation? You bet.
The layoff? 50 for OSU but I think it was 39 for the Gators. Not really that much difference.
82 yards of offense for OSU. Ginn scored on a hold that wasn't called(you all saw the guy grab the back of Nelson's collar). Their other TD was aided by a questionable personal foul on Siler.
I never in a million years would have expected a result like this.
It does show you that the SEC is the premier conference in all the known universe.......any doubters? Speed? Defense?
Weis vs Meyer Is there any doubt who got the better deal in this one?
And if I hear one more comment on this being Ron Zook's team.....a guy that lost 5 games a season while he was here....please.
Go Gators!

Rack Your Gators...
again major props...
the only thing...when Tressel won the NC in 2002 most of the seniors and what not were recruited by Cooper...same deal with this team...Leak, Wynn, etc...Meyer got more out of them than Zook...props to that as well...
thought when tOSU stopped FLA on the first series of the 2nd half and could have scored with the good field position it may have been different...oh well...
119 teams start the season with the MNC dream...only 1 can take it away...FLA did and I have no shame as a Buckeye fan in this season...
SEC is a very good conference...1-2 vs the Big 10 this year but the win came in the biggest game...that is all that counts in most people's eyes...
Next year will be a tough year for tOSU, the schedule is very bad (in a soft way) and they need to break in a new QB...plus they will lose Ginn, Pittman, and I think Gonzo is gone...
thought tOSU could run on FLA and they did at points but never stayed with it consistently...
Nothing more I can say....major PROPS!

Absolutely Pete...i don't have any shame...12-1 and #2 (ok so perhaps they should be 3rd or 4th)...but hey they went wire to wire in the regular season...outright Big 10 champions and hey they played well for 12 out of 13 games...
how many other teams would give up their left nuts to have had a chance to play last night...I can think of a team in Berkley but it is hard to give nuts when you have a vagina...
anyway back to the topic at hand...no shame by this buckeye...never had never will...pissed you bet...but I am not on the team nor was I involved in game planning...all losses hurt and eventually this will subside...and if any mother fuckers from Buckeye Nation try to blame it one thing or another save that shit...we got flat out beat by a better team...

Oh, you're dumb enough. But office places tend to shy away from hiring freak shows as employees. And you need to be able to actually tie a neck tie. The collar pull was worse because he was running straight at Ginn and Nelson is our All-American Safety....stud.The Seer wrote:Trix brought up 2 good issues.
There definitely was a hold on that kick-off; and that roughing penalty WAS iffy....
There was no way for Siler to stop his momentum.
I'm not necessarily complaining, I just thought the calls sucked.

both were beaten, both needed assistance for a shot, this years version needed a miracle block in the closing second, just to beat a piece of shit unranked sc squad,
the captain of the florida gators in 96 has gone on record as saying that the 95 florida gators were hands down the greatest gator team in florida gator history,
they destroyed everyone they met, including making a mockery outta no. 7 auburn, putting up 62 on tennessee, as far as raw speed is concerned? the 95 gators blow away this years pitiful gators, no comparison,
in fact, when all the facts are on the table, the 95 gators make a joke out of this years gators, kinda funny? dont ya think?
Ahhhh.....I actually still PM'ed several posters throughout the year. INCLUDING predictions and such. Awwww.....poor baby.....Nolesy wrote:So when in the hell does this " guest appearence" end?
BTW, you are still seen as a huge bitch for showing up AFTER UF wins. The longer you stay just affirms the fact even further.

I still consider this a down year for college football both Texas and USC from last year would have beat the shit out of Florida sorta like what Nebraska did in the mid 90's.T REX wrote:I am coming out of my self-imposed ban for some quicks thoughts before I return to the crypt.......

Don't get too ahead of yourself, if Vince came back it would still have been Texas holding the trophy.
