OT: Dazed and f'ing Confused

Post by the_ouskull »

What a great, great, great f*ckin' movie. Look at the freakin' cast alone and what they've gone on to do...

Nicky Katt: He did some TV, including Friends and two years of Boston Public, and his movie roles were decent, if not huge roles... A Time to Kill, Boiler Room, The Way of the Gun, Insomnia, Sin City, and World Trade Center. This guy was the dude that beat Adam Goldberg up at the end of the movie. A glorified extra.

Parker Posey: She's known as the Queen of the Indies, but she's done a lot of mainstream stuff too... Will and Grace, Superman Returns, Blade: Trinity, You've Got Mail, and Scream 3.

Michelle Burke: Mitch's older sister. The only other thing she ever really did was Coneheads, but it was a leading role.

Joey Lauren Adams: Yeah. She's been in a lot of stuff... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joey_Lauren_Adams

Cole Hauser: He's been in a lot of stuff too... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cole_Hauser

Marissa Ribisi: She's a Scientologist. Who cares?

Adam Goldberg: He's also been in a lot of shit... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Goldberg
However, the most impressive thing he's been in MIGHT be Christina Ricci.

Anthony Rapp: Another "lot of shit" guys... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Rapp He's also done a lot of stage stuff.

Sasha Jenson: Borat? No... He's not a "lot of shit" guy, but some stuff you've heard of... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasha_Jenson

Rory Cochrane, Milla Jovovich, Ben Affleck, Jason London, and Matthew McConaughey.

They're done some stuff...

The 10-Year Reunion DVD is worth picking up, if you haven't... Lots of interview stuff from 1992, when they shot it, and then again in 2003. (10 years 'cause it was released in 1993.) I'm digging on it, man. That's what I'm talkin' about.

Dude was quoting a line from the movie, skull...

The definitive Wooderson line:

That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

I was responding to his post, also from the movie...

"You bought that in a magazine. I saw the ad, it was right next to the sea monkeys." You think maybe if a guy STARTS a thread, he might know a little bit about what's going on in said thr... Well, maybe not always, but usually...

It's unfortunate that the movie gets all the play for this line... since its been around for years before the movie ever came out.

Actually, I think its been around as long as... "I was drunk last night." When you get caught nailing some skank.
