Petey is One Helluva Coach

Post by socal »

Addition by subtraction: Kiffin to the NFL.

Word on the street is that Meds bankrolled the last two years of his contract.

Also that Van will be named the new offensive coordinator at SC.

This could be the start of a succession plan for Carroll. Sark to be the next HC at SC. I wish Kiffin the best, but I won't miss him. He recruited well, but the players didn't like him.

can I get rid of this fuggin' sig already?

Sark would be a great choice to replace Pete. I am assuming all the play calling responsibilities and QB coaching will fall solely on Steve?

Your guess is as good as mine. Football coaches don't have the best record in the fidelity department.

Having said that, I believe the rumor originated on NDNation. Be sure to apply the appropriate discount rate accoridngly.

Initially it was said that Sark was going to the Raiders because Pete was nailing some grad student, and didn't want to get caught up in the mele that would follow. Obviously, that didn't happen.

Was there any truth to that rumor, the one I heard was that his wife found out and wanted him out of SoCal and away from the temptation, thus he was putting out NFL feelers.

Meds,

You haven't put up 50 since that game? I think Van put up 150 inside of a week but he left that ghey Mark Harmon pic up anyway. Personally, I think he was quite fond of it.

You?

Drop it already.

Stanfordhoo has an agenda.
Its simple, if the guy offering Bush's family the stuff is tied to USC, the school can worry, if the guy on the tape is trying to get Bush to leave USC, the school is off the hook

Not exactly. If there is evidence that Bush took money while at USC, it could render him retroactively ineligible. If this is the case, USC may need to forefit some games.

Nice hire Oakland. Dude wasn't a hot name at the college level and you are offering him a pro-job? Why not go after they guy that invented that offense and tutored two Heisman-winners in Norm Chow? Oakland won't be anything again til Davis quits meddling. If you are going to hire a college-coordinator I'd have hired Pelini. He has more pro-experience and is a more proven coordinator. But Chow would have been the best choice if he'd even take that pain-in-the-ass job.
