McGahee a Bronco

Post by Mile-Hi T »

Sounds like a deal might get done as soon as tomorrow.

I would love to see him in Denver gear.

Anybody heard what Buffalo is asking?

If its anything more than a bag of practice balls you got hosed.

He's a whiny little bitch who didn't like to study the playbook or block for teammates.

The Bills took a chance on him by drafting him too high and paying too much for him. The ingrate then proceeded to bad-mouth the town and team and underperform. It's easy to blame the O-line, but the fact is that he never really lived up to the hype as the next coming of Thurman Thomas. Thomas could block and catch as good as most receivers.

Good luck with the self-proclaimed "best running back in the NFL".

Looks like the Broncos just signed Travis Henry. Any Bills castoff in a storm I guess.

If Rueben frigging Droughns can put up 1,200+ yards behind that Denver line, imagine what Henry can do. He's not a superstar, but he'll do. And that's all they've needed lately. If he plays a full season in '07, I bet you Henry runs for at least 1,350 yards...

The Denver line is not what it once was, but Henry should run for 1300 +.

No official (or other kind) of word, but I'm guessing that McGahee's stock isn't as high as either he or the Bills thought.

Gee, I guess that maybe not all underachieving malcontents who don't do their basic work command huge checks in free agency...

Wasn't he also was convicted of having sex with a 15 yr old a few yrs ago .... ?
