The notion of Electronic mail, shortened to E-Mail, spawned a rash of "E"'s.
No not the one and only "E", he's older than that and, not a rash.
Anyhow, a few peeps having drinks decided it'd be cool to put "E" on anything "web based" or "on the web" or otherwise falling with the domain of being hosted on a server somewhere, having requests made for and about, and delivery and etc.. etc...
So we then have ...
"E-Commerce"
"E-Love"
"E-Hate"
"E-Sex"
"E-[verb or noun, maybe even and adverb like "Friendly"]
"E-Cred" obviously is the "E" equivalent of pooping in ones drawers, reaching in said drawers, wiping fecal matter on your face and then throwing it at someone, laughing, then claiming 'Bode'.
Which in and of itself has it's own "buzzword" etymology.
