I'd say that the war effort was "subverted" by the bumbling morons in office who totally fucked it up from the beginning. Anything the Democrats do at this point, even to the point of cutting off funding all together, would be a step in the direction of fixing the original subversion.

Isn't showing these soldiers and making them read false statements some sort of Geneva Convention violation? I'm saying this but at the same time doubt that Iran is a signatory to the Geneva Convention.

Here's to hoping the UN finds a way to re-invent itself after proving 100% futile in this situation.
