'Our' O-line has gotten rid of useless Langston Walker and inserted C. Carlisle.
That's an upgrade any way you look at it.
Carlisle has been in the league 8 yrs and has never made a pro-bowl, so I have no illusions that he'll be anything more than a SOLID starter.
Ask Mule fan if Carlisle has not been that.
As suck as Oakland's O-line was last year, I'm jazzed about plugging a spot with a good solid player.
Now if 2-time pro-bowler Newberry can stay healthy at center I'm even more jazzed.

Agreed. It's a step in the right direction, Pop; however, you have to admit one thing.

You're running out of available bad moves. The law of averages has to give you a plus at some point.

Yes, you're right.
Oakland could slap shoulder pads on Clay Aiken & War Wagon and bookend 'em at the tackle spots and they'd be an upgrade over last year.
The Carlisle move isn't the one that stamps our Super Bowl ticket.
