What is really sad about this picture....A team like alabama would devote time to make a picture of a 10-2 season which they lost to Auburn and LSU. What does the caption read on that picture #3 in the SEC west?

what i'm seeing in that pictorial, is Mike Shula....a d tackle against Texas Tech, scoring against maybe bowling green... and the Prothro catch.

to be honest, that's pretty pitiful shit. i'd almost call troll since it's so lame.

Over-rated Bama QB? Over-rated? You talkin' about the Kansas City Chiefs' QB?
what ever you say, Auburn fan.

i was just fucking with him, and he knows that. anyone who loves Bama and posts a montage with Mike Shula deserves a kick in the pants.

but, thanks Dins for keeping the rest of us on the right path. it must hurt a little when yer partner's strap-on pushes out to your belly-button.

works for me. though, off hand, i only remember the Dennis Criminal Beavers taking it to Bob Davie, and last year's LSU game. what was the third?
The loss to tOSU in the Fiesta Bowl after the '05 season. Whenever we had tOSU pinned deep in their own territory, they had us just where they wanted us, as they would inevitably break off a long play for a TD.

In this case, your memory is working right. Then again, it's not exactly as though Boise has a ton of games vs. Pac-10 opponents under their belts. http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/di ... onents.php

Neither do I.

Neither does your father.
Boise has only had a 1-A program since '96. All things considered, they've had a meteoric rise, particularly when measured against a program like Buffalo, which has been 1-A since '99 and is still routinely among the worst teams in 1-A.

And the Oregon States and Stanfords of the world don't host 1-AA teams on an occasion(along with most other 1-A teams at one time or another)?

Buffalo isnt full of California recruits, there are 41 players from California playing for Boise

L 09-03-1994 16 Eugene, OR 58

L 09-21-2002 0 Eugene, OR 41

L 10-28-2006 12 Eugene, OR 55

Thats OK though, USC played Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 98 years ago this October but have played 1AA Montana as recently as 1942

And Texas plays who?

And the SEC teams play who?

I believe a common term for those is "money games."

But far be it for Toejam to not let a point fly completely over his dysfunctional head.

Like I give 2 fucks about Texas and the SEC, the Trojans have the balls to not schedule those cunt games vs patsies, and 110 or so other schools in D1 who do schedule games like that just have fuzzy little sacks that were meant to house balls.

on top of Portland State Oregon has played Montana as recently as 2005 and Idaho State in 1988. Keep scheduling those "money games"since Phil Knight isnt giving the school enough money.

Marshall isn't full of Cali kids. They've done pretty well for themselves.

You had to go back to 1988 to make your point?

Shit, I could have helped you out, since there has been more recent examples than that.

And NO D1 team should feel shame for scheduling Montana -- they are the garthoks of 1-AA. A team that traditionally dominates 1-AA has earned the right to use D1 opponents as a measuring stick.

Since you mentioned it . . .

Buffalo's roster from last season.

It may not be full of California recruits, but if my count is correct, there are 31 players who are from either Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, California or Texas (not counting the kicker, who's also from Texas). I'm not saying that's a star-studded roster (Buffalo is a MAC bottom-feeder, after all), but the geographic areas where they are recruiting are not the reasons why they are losing.

if Croyle could have stayed healthy, he might have really "blown up". he was never the same.

KC,

See Mgo's sig.
i saw the sig: SEC, no excuse. and that has exactly what to do with anything i've posted? i'm genuinely curious, since you mention it and i think the obfuscating Dinsdale seems to have as well in a rare post that he doesn't talk about himself, the pac 10, or Portland. so, it was notable.

A former Oregon State University football star and Pittsburgh Steeler has been charged with pimping.

Richard Seigler was arraigned Friday morning in Pennsylvania just hours after being cut from the NFL's Steelers.

Seigler is facing three prostitution-related felonies after allegedly persuading at least one woman to become a prostitute and taking part of her earnings. Authorities say he was caught in an undercover sting at a Las Vegas hotel and casino.

If convicted, he'd face up to 10 years in prison.

Based on what I have seen, heard, and experienced from Oregonites (or whatever the hell they call themselves) these uniforms don't shock me a bit.
