how could 8 finish in the top 25 since they always beat...oh never mind...
yes and Herbstreit also said that Michigan was the 2nd best team last year even during all the controversy...
yes I was at tOSU when he QB'd...like the fact that really only one weekend a year he really homers up (Michigan weekend)...and he is pretty unbiased as an announcer...but damn kirk...gives these SEC ball sucking homers more ammo :D

well when all of the SEC has those 4 Giime OOC wins, its much easier to have a stacked record and finish in the top 25. Shit all they need to do in conference is go 5-3 and with games against Ole Miss, Miss State, Kentucky and Vandy... now they only need to win 1 tough game to finish the season 9-3.
Shit, they only have to just win thir home games and they go 8-4

This is a big reason the SEC has been the biggest punch of pussies in all the land when it comes to OOC scheduling.
Since they know they're going to get their dicks sucked come poll time, there's no real motivation to schedule tough. If you can start the season ranked, then all you have to do is maintain and you'll stay in the polls.
They're all about the bare minimum...and often times less than that, what with all the d1aa teams they like to unload on.

Doesn't he do that every year?Mr T wrote:Oh and he predicted preseason that the canes would win it all.
Yeah, except Brad's entertaining. :brad:PSUFAN wrote:Schmick is starting to remind me of brad...

releasing anger v. SEC on message boards...
You can release your anger v. SEC on the message boards without danger, and it is the best way to criticize the SEC, so you can't get hurt. Doing it on the field is a bit more dangerous.

I was reading a 1967 college football preseason mag the other day. They referred to "mighty Alabama" no fewer than 4 times in assessing other teams. Ah, the good ol' daze...
Oh, almost forgot: SoCal, if not for your av, there'd be no reason whatsoever to read any of your shit. Your ignorance of history is as blatant as your ignorance of college football.
