All the Running backs listed and where they stack up all time:Raydah James wrote: I laughed. Out of 'Tarts entire list, this guy has the worst fucking stats needed to make the hall at this point. He isnt fucking close to being top 20 all-time for rushing yards, carries, or yards from scrimmage.
Excellent job, tards.
Im also guessing that the continued inability to win a playoff game until the end of his career will hurt his chances of getting a sniff-of course, that career will be cut short by a member of the silver and black this season when he gets both ACL's blown out. :P

Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Steve Wizniewski and (possibly) Lincon Kennedy will be in before Too Tall Tomlinson gets there.

Yes I can. If Tomlinson were to snap his leg tomorrow, he'd be in the HoF. And probably on the first ballot. He's a great "character guy" (at least in the eyes of the voters) and he just came off a season that is in the top 2 or 3 all time for running backs. Owens, like you said, is a shitbag. So he'll have to pile up a whole lot more in the stats department just to overcome the total hatred that the voters have for him.Headhunter wrote:You can't in the same breath say Tomlinson is a lock but T.O. needs 2-3 more seasons to qualify?
Yes, I was looking for predictions here, as it has been noted that only Harrison, IMO, is a 100% lock to make it on current resume.jiminphilly wrote:will they? being they key question.
Terrell Davis and LaDainian Tomlinson are not comparable on any level what so fucking ever. Davis had 1 average season, and 3 great years. Tomlinson has put up great numbers for 5 straight years, already has over 100 TDs for his career and demolished the single season TD mark last year. I was just saying (as you did yourself) that TO's numbers would ordinarily be Hall worthy, but since he's such a fucking prick, he'll have to do that much more work to get writers to vote for him.Headhunter wrote:Terrell Davis is going to be ecstatic that you don't need HOF numbers. Just a good year and that all important "Character Guy" stat.
Do you think that matters to guys like Peter King and Len Passthelasagna?ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Character guy? He exposed himself as a rotten, yeast infected man-vulva after being punked by the Patriots.BSmack wrote:He's a great "character guy" (at least in the eyes of the voters).
Character? Fuck "The Round Mound of Cunt Sounds" Tomlinson...

If they compiled their numbers in 6 seasons while scoring over 100 TDs, then you would have a point. Tomlinson has AVERAGED 1500 yards a season since he entered the league. That is HoF worthy.Headhunter wrote:I still don't think Tomlinson's numbers put him in the Hall if he never takes another snap. I don't believe he has, as of yet, put together a Hall of Fame resume. He's getting close. But if his leg snaps tomorrow, he's no Hall of Fame back in my opinion.
If you ask me, you'll need to crack the top 10 in rushing yards before I'd consider a back to have HOF number. As it stands, he's around 2-3 seasons away from that.
Apparently 24th is good enough for you.
Warrick Dunn will be pleased. So will Eddie George, and Tiki Barber.

He might want to start scoring more than 12 TDs a year. But feel free to flail away at one part of Tomlinson's HoF resume in your enduring attempt to make people think you know anything about football. It sure is entertaining.Dinsdale wrote:Yet sports a yards-per-carry average that's lower than Fred Taylor.BSmack wrote:Tomlinson has AVERAGED 1500 yards a season since he entered the league.
And not even in the same area code as Frank Gore's. So, a couple more years at his current pace, and Gore becomes a HoF lock?

In Fred's case, yes.Headhunter wrote:
