There's a 63 post 'President Bush is a dummy' thread at the top of the Cul de Wack' forum.

This is a problem.

and one 43 post "this board sucks" thread.

Good thing the names are different. Otherwise I'd be hard pressed to pick the most boring one of the two.

Why is a boring message board a problem for you? It's been this way all over the place for the last few years. Everything gets watered down over time as people move on and more smaller boards open up.

OC Mike is right. Pick the one you like and don't go to the ones you don't like. It's not that complicated.

Easy on little coodes, folks. He knows his only shot at the archives is to pimp out his colon as a plunger rickshaw. So just line up, slam them home, and hope the darn thing doesn't rip.

Seems we're talkin' two issues (at least) here: 1) Quality 2) Quantity

The second one is easier to fix than the first. The obvious solution would be to get rid of all the parochial forums, and open the Cul de Smack up to all topics. The only other forums should be Archives and TROTS.

With more posters visiting this forum (because there would be no others at T1B on which to post), there's a chance the quality would also improve. Of course, there's an equal chance that it will get worse. But at least there would be more traffic.

A compromise would be to set up the forum so that when someone starts a thread, that individual would have to select a menu option identifying the category of the topic (general, sports, politics, cooking, etc.). A feature could be made available that would allow viewers who are only interested in a particular category to sort on it, thereby giving them the opportunity to bypass/ignore the rest of the threads (much like visiting a specialty forum). Threads could then be displayed with most recent posts at the top within each category, or without respect to categories, depending on individual desires. Basically, it'd be a best of both worlds scenario - heavier traffic in the main forum, with the option to choose categories within it, rather than a multitude of slow forums.

Just my $0.02.

Interesting idea, Smackie, but I think there are certain posters that hit specialized forums that want no part of the main forum. They’d probably just bail altogether.

I don’t see where the main forum is all that bad. It’s a little slow at times, big deal. Go read a fucking book.

Goddamn ADHD twats like Cooter think they have to be continually entertained. Go buy a fucking dildo.

Well, most of his attention is focused on keeping Biggie's grapesack nit-free. It might be possible to plunger him unawares, amid all the head-bobbing.

There's all that. And then there's telling the whiney fuckstains like Cuda to fuck off. That route is going swimmingly.

True, but that's only good for a day or two at a time. Then it's back to the same ol' ho-hum 'til Coods pries himself away from Hosedboard long enough to come back in here for another steaming pile of abuse. With heavier traffic, we might be able to, like, set some sort of Guinness record for creating the most heavily adorned plunger peacock. 'Course, given recent history, Cood's would have his work cut out for him trying to top BSmack.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me either way. I don't spend enough time here anymore to keep up with the light traffic as it is, so if it were any heavier, there'd just be more that I'd miss. Just thought I'd offer a suggestion to speed things up a bit for the regulars.

snort... Goobs, you fucker, you owe me a Bud Light. No, not a nancy boy midwestern micro brew pale ale, just an honest mans beer. Fucker...

Oh, and I see Coods is whining again about the 'quality' of the board and lining up for the insipient plungers that he knew would be forthcoming. Same trolling song, different verse.

Fuck off, Coods. Maybe go get a job and/or a life and realize that there's more to life than an internet message board, you pathetic loser.
