The past season has convinced me that I need to switch allegiances from the team that I've called "my team" since the days when Jimmah Carter was advocating lowering our standards by doping ourselves silly.

I can no longer associate myself with the San Diego Chargers. All their detractors are correct. The team is a laughing stock, and I've found myself to be one of those making light of them.

I think what did it for me was the early exit this year. I knew it was going to happen. Just knew it. That night of the loss, I felt a need to just burn everything connected with the SD Chargers in my possesion.


SO now, I'm looking for a new team. It cannot be the Patriots, because I still hold some principles.
